As we approach the new year you may feel compelled to create some new goals, come up with a new year's resolution, or just want to form some new healthy habits. I'm going to ask you to pump the breaks a hot second and put that new planner back on the shelf for at least a day. There are some really good questions should or at least could ask ourselves as we move into 2022. All I'm asking is you listen and consider them.

Whether you have a household full of littles, care for one, or have the slightest interest in learning how yoga and mindfulness can create positive change in your life, this episode is for you! Kate Curzon with Kate Curzon Wellbeing saw a need in her classroom, got super crafty, and then took it one step further.
As a highly trained yoga and mindfulness teacher, Kate's style of teaching is based around fun and she tries to take some of the seriousness out of these practices. She focuses on holistic wellbeing rather than just the physical practice (asana) of yoga and is passionate about making the magic of yoga and the practice of mindfulness accessible to all regardless of age, size, shape, gender, ability, or ethnicity.
I mean... I personally took notes as I edited this episode and walked away with a better understanding of yoga, a new way of looking at my own practice, a mudra I absolutely LOVE and most of all - INSPIRATION to create change in my own home. Go give this a listen and be sure to follow Kate on social!

When it comes to my goals and ambitions, I tend to go hard. Always going, going, going. I recently started therapy to process some things that I felt were keeping me from seeing the progress I want in my life and even as a coach. BEST CHOICE EVER. But, what I didn't expect is to find myself "uncommitting" to some things that are very important to me in the process. No, not forever, but for as long as that seemed like the right thing to do. Today's episode is all about doing what you need to take care of yourself and trusting that if that means pressing pause - you'll have what it takes to start again when you're ready.

Isn't it great how the things we think we've worked through or healed from pop up at the worst possible moment? Or...not. In today's episode, I unpack what I learned from a recent weekend that was absolutely incredible but also at times, felt traumatic. Apparently, some unhealed trauma and limiting beleifs wanted some attention. Consider them exposed. This chick has something to work through.

How honest are you about what you want? You might be surprised but most of us are dumbing down our desires. I think we do it for a lot of different reasons, at least I know I've got plenty but today I'm going to talk about just one... Disappointment. Don't just sit there nodding your head in agreement, listen. And if you love it, share this episode with your friends or anyone you think could use a little nudge.

How do you feel about surprises? Do ya love them, hate them, or does it depend on what the heck the surprise is? I lean heavily towards that last one. Some surprises are AMAZING. Some are shocking in a good way, and then some are just downright not what we expected in we are not going to fake it till we make it!
Today I'm sharing a fun but shocking surprise our family just experienced and tying it all the way back to 18-year-old Amy. Surprise...d.

Henry Ford was a pretty smart fella, not just because of the obvious. He said if you think you can, you're right. These words have held true in my life experience and in today's episode we get to dig into this concept a little further. Amanda Schofield is a person I'm incredibly grateful for having crossed paths with. She's an example of living in your power and shares with us ways we too have ALL the power and what we are capable of doing with it.

When this episode airs there will be 99 days left to 2021. Do you know how many amazing things you can achieve or pursue in 99 days? Too many to count but after listening to today's episode please just say a dream is one.
Okay, the cat's out of the bag. Between that opening and this title, I think it's safe to say today's episode is all about chasing our dreams. Even the ones you don't believe you can achieve or that you think are too small to label "dream".
All dreams are worth going after. The question left to answer... will you?

When it comes to making choices for your life, saying "don't worry about what other people think" does not always sit right. Especially when it comes to the opinions of those we love and hold in high regard. We often do care how others feel but that doesn't mean you stop.
Today is part 2 of a guest interview I did with Chad Rahman, and this half is coaching.
We're digging into navigating the unchartered waters of new beginnings while still holding space for the opinions or feelings of parentals who gave up what they knew to build a better life for their family.
