It’s been several months since we’ve talked about ski vacations, but with ski areas and resorts now opening around the country, this week we’re talking to two experts: Molly Mahar, the president of Ski Vermont, and Dan Sherman, the chief marketing officer of Ski.com, about the upcoming season. With Robert Silk, our ski reporter, we examine the demand for this year’s slopes for and skiers and riders, Epic- and Ikon-pass sales, new mountain technology and, finally – what does make skiing and snowboarding so great?
