After one of the darkest days in Royals history came one of the brightest.  A truck full of rookies stormed into Toronto and beat the Blue Jays 3-1.  Who woulda thunk, huh?  It turns out when you give a bunch of people everything to prove and nothing to lose, they do some really amazing things.  Now, the Royals went winless for the following three games, but that's not the point.  We now have something to look forward to, a clear vision of what needs to happen with this team.

Along with the weekend recap, the Royals drafted two players on the first day of the MLB Draft.  They're some interesting guys that are worth talking about, so why don't we do just that?

The Royals have 10 players who are willingly absent from the upcoming four games in Toronto.  You can have your opinion on what people can or should do I guess, but the point is, we've lost almost half of our roster and that's a problem.

There's a lot of talk of the New York Yankees valuing Royals left fielder Andrew Benintendi as their most-wanted player at the trade deadline.  They may also want Michael A. Taylor as well!  So, with that in mind, we should look at some Yankees prospects and see who might fit the Royals in a potential trade.

Zack Greinke is one of the most storied pitchers in baseball.  He is within the final years of a Hall of Fame career.  The question is, will this be his last year?  Does he get traded?  What happens at the end of 2022?  Are we even supposed to know?  I ask ponder such things about Greinke in today's episode, because I just like the guy.

The Royals did a couple of things that have been demanded for weeks and months.  Carlos Santana was traded to some team for no one cares, and Vinnie Pasquantino is FINALLY IN THE MLB!!  HE IS HERE!!!  Also the Royals lost but no one cares VINNIE IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other things to talk about are other potential trade candidates from the Royals, as well as recent struggles with Kyle Isbel and Nicky Lopez.
