OP decides to see how noisy his cats really are, so he pretends to go to asleep but instead spends all night listening to the cats. The cats are quiet all night, but in the morning his wife whines that the cats kept her up. When he confronts her on the lie, things go downhill really quickly.

r/AmITheA**hole In today's episode, OP gets his $2500 bicycle stolen by some spoiled teenager. Luckily, he's able to find that his bike is being sold on Facebook marketplace, so he goes to confront the teen. He's surprised to discover that the teenager's mom is there with the bike, trying to sell it. He calls the cops to get the teenager arrested, and later the teen's dad calls up OP for some good old-fashioned witness intimidation. Surprise! The father got arrested too!

r/Maliciouscompliance In today's episode, OP is helping his friend resolve a bogus ambulance bill that is most definitely illegal. He calls up the ambulance company to try to resolve things peacefully, but the representative on the phone is less than helpful. She yells, "So sue me!" The thing is, OP is a lawyer, so he's more than happy to maliciously comply with that request! After he files the lawsuit, the company's lawyer calls back and practically begs to settle out of court.

r/Maliciouscompliance In today's episode, OP has chronic ear infections and is deaf. She can't hear anything without her hearing aids, and unfortunately she can't wear her aids when she has an ear infection flare up. Her boss decides that she still has to work anyway, so he puts her on phone duty. A deaf person... on phone duty. When OP doesn't answer the phones, the boss yells at her. Dude, what did you expect?

For some reason, his crazy neighbor Karen decides that she would rather live in OP's house during the outage, so she comes up and knocks on his door, demanding to live in his house. OP turns her down (obviously), so she forces her way inside and refuses to leave. Luckily, OP is able to trick her out of the house by telling her that he'll grab her a key, and then he locks the door behind her!

During their most recent shindig, the neighbors allow all of their guests to park on OP's property. But OP was prepared for this -- she works at a tow truck company! She called her office and had dozens of their cars towed away. Maybe next time you won't park like a bunch of jerks!
