What does outsourcing your worthiness look like? Many people outsource their worthiness when they think they’ll gain acceptance, love, and confidence in themselves only after they reach a certain weight... or make a certain amount of money... or live in a certain kind of house or neighborhood... or have a relationship, period.
Now, those things can make you feel good about yourself, but it becomes an issue when they’re your sole source for feeling worthy. My guest today Dante feels like her self-worth depends on being in a relationship. So in this episode, she wants to know how she can stop outsourcing her confidence and worthiness to things outside herself, particularly relationships.
