Today Kriss is joined by SFE client Oliver, who recently completed the Coast to Coast path which runs from the west coast of England at St. Bee’s to the east coast at Robins Hood’s Bay.
Usually walkers break the 192 mile (310km) route into stages over around 14 days, however Oliver decided he’d like to run it in 7 days.
192 miles, 9000m of elevation and on average covering a marathon a day.
Oliver shares how he coped with a niggle in the lead up to this event, the nutrition strategies he’s been working hard on perfecting, the importance of ‘chunking' and what mind games came in handy.
