Russian authorities are claiming that their forces have taken control of the salt-mining town of Soledar in eastern Ukraine, in what could give the military a significant strategic advantage. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says his country's forces are still holding on in the battle for Soledar and other eastern cities.
