Ryan Kado is one of the biggest drifting nerds I know. When I met him he was already competing in Formula Drift in his first 350z and I wasn’t even driving yet. Even before being friends and then teammates on Drift Team Animal Style he was super humble and down to earth. He’s always been there for the raw love of the sport. Ryan is one of the most skilled drivers I’ve ever driven with and was always ahead of the curve with car setup and technique. He also has been doing Sim drifting and RC drifting for well over a decade. Ryan has always been a pioneer and when he needed to take a break, the community felt it. His break from driving was about five years and now he’s back with some new perspective and enjoying driving in a whole new light. We talked about why he needed to take a break and of course his origins and other cool stuff most of us didn’t know about Ryan Kado.
