We have a confession to make. Andrea and Jessica have fallen victim to the “do more, be better” message that we have openly pushed against since we launched the Honest Women podcast in May of this year. In today’s episode, we get honest about our own expectations and how we have been forced to re-evaluate them. Get ready for some raw, real, unfiltered self-disclosure.

In today's episode, we talk about our "zones":

The things we want to accomplish that often make us look "impressive." Think spirit fingers and a little razzle dazzle!

The things we HAVE to do but often don't LOVE to do. Think dishes/school emails/kids' clothing/meal planning/grocery shopping...did someone say, "invisible labor?!"

The fun stuff! And often, things that go by the wayside when we are drowning in zone 2, and expecting too much of ourselves in zone 1. Think sleep, connection, exercise!

We get honest about:

How we got here, once again.

How unrealistic expectations have negatively impacted us.

Re-evaluating what our expectations should be in this "season" of our life.
