Back in October we came across a sign that came from a golf course in England. It was dated 1940 and delineated a set of “special rules” that were to be used because of the “unpleasantness” of the current situation. Yes! Even during the Battle Of Britain and amidst constant threat of German attach the golfers in Britain would not be deterred. They continued to hit the links regularly, but did adopt these new rules.
