Some folks seem to be surprised that Golf has flourished so well during this Covid-19 quarantine period. We really shouldn't be surprised. It seems that golf and golfers have adapted and flourished during much more serious emergencies, like WWII. We have a hilarious collection of temporary rules used at a course in England in 1940. Anyone want to hazard a guess the penalty for landing a ball to close to unexploded ordinance?
