John Tucker Must Die is a 2006 teen romantic comedy directed by Betty Thomas.  This is the story of teenager Kate Spencer played by Brittany Snow. Kate and her mom Lori played by Jenny McCarthy live just outside of Portland, Oregon. They are kinda nomads, they move constantly, Lori can’t hold down a relationship with a guy, Kate has moved from school to school… but NOW she goes to a school with John Tucker played by Jesse Metcalfe. John is your classic, all-american athlete, basketball stud, girl’s love him, guys wanna be like him, however Kate stumbles upon a serious problem. She comes to the realization that John Tucker is dating 3 prominent girls at school, all at the same time.
