A little about Victor:

Victor Vela is also a husband and a father. I believe that he is such a powerful voice for this generation! 

He was born into a broken family and grew up in a dysfunctional environment. He became an addict, at 12 years old and spent the next 10 years struggling with mental illness. He was in and out of jail, and dealing with drugs.

After many of his closest friends passed away, he hit rock bottom and surrendered his life to Jesus in a jail cell, and he's never been the same.

And now, as a husband and a father he's also pursuing the call that God has given to him through using music and social media, and also counseling to help Christians understand the gospel, so they can see the transformation and peace that Jesus paid for.

Victor's story is so powerful but also proof that a life can truly be transformed!

However you may feel about religion or God, you cannot argue with the story of a person and the transformation that they have really gone through. As, someone who was suicidal and comes from a broken and dysfunctional home, I understand the power of surrendering to Jesus and seeing your life transformed.

Even if you're not someone who considers yourself a faith-filled person, I pray and I hope that you will listen to this episode with an open heart and an open mind because it is so powerful to really be someone that finds freedom in who God says that you are without worrying about what anyone else thinks of it or thinks about you pursuing your gifts and dreams.
