«Discover a River» â because the Aygalades stream has long lingered in the shadows of the cityâs backdrop. Discovery, in this context, involves bringing it into the spotlight, getting intimately acquainted, and learning alongside the river. Ultimately, discovery means unveiling its essence, allowing it to embrace rainfall, shape its bed, and define its source and mouth.
Today, numerous international rivers enjoy recognition as living entities, a status that not only ensures their physical protection (via natureâs rights) but also signifies a novel coha- bitation between rivers and the surrounding communities. These innovative approaches have inspired bioregion theorists to offer a fresh perspective on terrestrial and aquatic territories, where regional units are defined by a riverâs territory or the integrity of biological communities within regional habitats and ecosystems.
This is the European 17 winning project of "ruée architecture" in Marseille, to discover in Com d'Archi Podcast !
