S8 Ep3: Hannah Lowther, star of No Limits, The Spongebob Musical & Heathers

Listen Later

Hannah Lowther is currently playing #Catfish in No Limits at the Turbine Theatre.

A new song cycle by Sam Thomas, No Limits follows a variety of characters, from every walk of life as they dare to believe in themselves and strive for a better tomorrow. It is described as a "show with heart, humour, LGBTQ+ stories and a message we should all take on board… know no limits!”

After No Limits, Hannah will star as Karen in the UK premiere of The Spongebob Musical which is touring the UK and playing a season at the Southbank Centre.

Hannah started her stage career as a child, playing Brigitta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music (London Palladium) and Jemima Potts in Chitty Chatty Bang Bang (National Tour). She was also in the children's ensemble of Oliver! (Theatre Royal Drury Lane).

Hannah then trained at Italia Conti and the London School of Musical Theatre, graduating from the latter in 2019. During the pandemic, Hannah was a covid temp at Tesco and began creating stagey content on TikTok where she has grown a following of over 750,000.

As we came out of the pandemic, Hannah joined the London cast of Heathers (The Other Palace) as dance captain; during the run she became the first actor to play all three Heathers. Her credits also include: Singing' in the Rain (Adelphi), Babies The Musical (Workshop), Millennials (The Other Palace) and Kinky Boots in Concert (Theatre Royal Drury Lane).

In this episode, Hannah speaks candidly about her journey in the industry so far, as well as starting out on TikTok and the challenges of the online world. She also delves into No Limits, Spongebob, Heathers and lots more!
