Will Callan is starring as Sebastian in Cruel Intentions: The '90s Musical.

Following its London run at The Other Palace, Cruel Intentions is currently touring the UK and Ireland. Based on the 1999 film and inspired by Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Cruel Intentions features ‘90s pop classics including songs by Britney Spears, Boyz II Men, Christina Aguilera, TLC, R.E.M., Ace of Base, Natalie Imbruglia, The Verve, *NSYNC and many more.

Will came to theatre via the music world and participating in The Voice Kids (ITV). He toured the UK & Ireland as Marius in Les Misérables and later reprised his performance in the West End.

Six The Musical LIVE is being screened in UK cinemas from 7th April. The film was made in 2022 when the original West End cast reunited for some performances at Hampton Court Palace prior to filming the show in the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh and Maiya Quansah-Breed originated the roles of Catherine of Aragon, Jane Seymour, Anna Of Cleves and Catherine Parr in Six. Over the past few years they've all recorded episodes of In The Frame - in this special episode we revisit each queen discussing their journey with Six.

Tony and Olivier nominees Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss are In The Frame!

Toby and Lucy are the writers and creators of Six The Musical, and Lucy is also the show’s co-director. From this Sunday 6th April a special filmed version of Six, with the original West End queens, is being screened in UK cinemas. 

Six premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 and went on to begin its West End reign in 2019. Six is also running on Broadway whilst touring both the UK and US and playing internationally.

Six The Musical LIVE was made in 2022 when the original West End cast reunited for some performances at Hampton Court Palace prior to filming the show in the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Toby and Lucy’s second musical Why Am I So Single? premiered last year in the West End and has just released its cast album featuring a very special feature from Patti LuPone. Lucy also directed the 2022 London revival of Legally Blonde at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

In this episode Toby and Lucy speak about the process of making this filmed production and the evolution of Six. They also reflect on Why Am I So Single?'s West End run, the story behind Patti LuPone doing the album as well as their passion for authenticity onstage and the impact that has had on theatre.

Vinny Coyle is starring as Wild Bill Hickok in Calamity Jane.

The production is currently embarking on a UK and Ireland tour with direction by Nikolai Foster and co-direction and choreography by Nick Winston.

Based on the Doris Day movie, this production of Calamity Jane last toured ten years ago and features classic songs including The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away), The Black Hills of Dakota, Just Blew in from the Windy City and the Oscar-winning Secret Love. Vinny stars opposite Carrie Hope Fletcher in the title role.

Vinny recently starred as Johann Baptist zu Sonnenburg in Mozart: Her Story (Theatre Royal Drury Lane) and played Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (Broadway Italia).

His other theatre credits include: Hugo in Aspects of Love (Lyric Theatre), Yash/Davenport in The Government Inspector (Turbine Theatre), Young Buddy in Follies (Tangier), The Baker/Arthur in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella (Gillian Lynne Theatre), Policeman in the Pit/Cover Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (UK & Ireland Tour), Feuilly/Cover Enjolras in Les Misérables The Staged Concert (Gielgud Theatre), understudy Chris and John in Miss Saigon (UK Tour) and Cover Grantaire/Factory Foreman in Les Misérables (Queen’s Theatre).

Laura Baldwin is In The Frame!

Laura Baldwin is playing Miss Heartwright in the world premiere of Austenland. Based on Shannon Hale’s 2007 novel, which was adapted into a film in 2013, Austenland is being staged in concert at the Savoy Theatre for two performances on Monday 24th March. The show has book by Jodi Picoult and Timothy Allen McDonald with music and lyrics by Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel. The concert production is directed by Jonathan O’Boyle with choreography by Joanna Goodwin.

Laura played Dawn in the original West End cast of Waitress (Adelphi Theatre) and Adele in the premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella (Gillian Lynne Theatre). She received huge acclaim for her performance as Janey in Eugenius! (The Other Palace).

Megan recently starred as Nessarose in the Wicked UK & Ireland Tour. Megan was also the first cover for Glinda and played the role regularly. 

She received huge acclaim for starring as Hannah Campbell in the UK premiere of Allegiance at the Charing Cross Theatre. Her theatre credits also include: understudy Cosette in Les Misérables (UK & Ireland Tour/West End), understudy Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Cork Opera House) and more recently she has been touring in the concert show Defying Gravity: West End Women.

Wendi Peters is starring as Florence Foster Jenkins in the revival of Glorious! at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester.

Glorious! was nominated for Best New Comedy at the 2006 Olivier Awards and tells the true story of American socialite Florence Foster Jenkins, dubbed ‘the worst singer in the world’, who was known for her flamboyant costumes, enigmatic performances and decidedly off-key voice. The revival is directed by Kirk Jameson. 

Wendi is an icon of stage and screen. Most recently she played Mother Superior in the UK tour of Sister Act. Just a few of her other theatre credits include Big The Musical, White Christmas, Oh What A Lovely War and many more. Wendi received huge acclaim for creating the role of Diana in the UK premiere of You Are Here at Southwark Playhouse, with her performance featuring in West End Frame's Top 5 Performances of 2021.

On screen Wendy is beloved for her iconic performance as Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street (ITV), a role she played from 2003 to 2007 and again in 2014. Wedi has worked extensively on screen, most recently she played Nina Bulsara for a year in Doctors (BBC).

In this episode Wendi discusses all-things Glorious! and also reflects on the path of her career, including some of the non-performing jobs she did early on, how Coronation Street changed things, what makes her say yes or no… and lots more along the way.

Dan Partridge is starring as Charlie Price in the new touring production of Kinky Boots.

Written by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, Kinky Boots opened on Broadway in 2013 before transferring to London in 2015. This new production is directed by Curve’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster with choreography by Leah Hill and set and costume design by Robert Jones.

Dan's theatre credits include: Pepper in Mamma Mia! (West End), Link in Hairspray (UK Tour), Rum Tum Tugger in Cats (Europe & South Korea Tours) and most recently he originated the role of Ben in the world premiere of Here And Now: The Steps Musical (The Alexandra, Birmingham).

Dan had an extensive run starring as Danny Zuko in Grease on tour and in the West End at the Dominion Theatre. He has also worked on screen and done multiple workshops.

In this episode Dan disusses the demands of playing Charlie, developing his stage relationship with Johannes Radebe and what it's been like to create a new version of Kinky Boots. Dan also reflects on his career so far... and lots more pops up along the way.
