Sabotage in Marriage and Life | Difficult Topics in Marriage

The day before we recorded this episode, we started recording podcast episodes again because we were ready to recommit and get our schedule all straightened out. Everything was set up for recording again and ready to go with nothing standing in the way, and then Adam decided to bring up a very triggering topic that had been on his mind all day and that caused things to get pretty heated between us, which happened right before recording and kind of killed the mood to record.

“We sometimes collide, then we grow stronger and grow from there. Collisions usually result around me thinking about things for long periods of time and not communicating the things I’m thinking about, and then communicating when I think I’m under duress and I don’t have much time to talk about it, and it comes out all sideways. Then I don’t want to continue because I know I botched it up, and I just stonewall and that just leads to crazy.” 3:13
