Husband and Wife react to a super judgmental video classifying anyone who isn't a rich white man as "Low Class" and boy do we have feelings.
The video we're responding to is linked below:

Husband and Wife (don't) answer questions about Job's friend Eliphaz (because we're in the middle of a longer conversation).
Then we get into Leviathans, Behemoths, and Zizzes (zizzi? zouce? What is the plural of Ziz?). Wife narrowly avoids going down several Rabbit Holes as we learn about Lotan, chaos demons, the seven deadly sins, dragons, and princes of Hell. We will definitely be revisiting some of this material because it's fascinating and ridiculous.

Eliphaz Rebukes Job (cont).
When you look up the word "Uninvited," you'll find a picture of Eliphaz next to it, cuz dude is a seriously Bad Friend. He's that schmuck who tells you to get over it and that you need to move on. Moreover, he's encouraging people to party with wild animals, which just seems like really bad (and potentially bloody) advice. The only bright side here is that the author seems to be knocking [Infinity] down a notch. Still, that's small consolation when we're talking about a dad who just lost his children.

Eliphaz Rebukes Job.
One of the bravest things you can say is I DON'T KNOW, so that's what we're doing. Honestly, we have no effing idea what this guy was trying to convey, but it wasn't sympathy, which makes Eliphaz this week's big loser. It kinda sounded like Big E. was trying to say that J. deserves the trouble that has befallen him? But that can't be right because we keep hearing how GOOD Job is. What even is this junk?

Job Bewails His Birth.
In a stunning turn, Job curses except God, which, you know, kinda goes against the grain of the message we've all been told about my dude. Job is like that goth teenager dressed all in black who says, "Ugh, I wish I'd never been born!" He's really turned up about this timeline. But... "Did he say it?" No, Sarah did NOT wish the Goblin King would take baby Toby, and Job did NOT specifically curse God. mmmkay sure right. (They both totally did tho. IJS. )

Job's Calamities (cont).
God dares Satan to be a dick (again), and Satan is like, "Challenge accepted, mf!" (again).
Job, who has just lost his livestock, slaves, and children, is now covered in painful boils. His wife thinks he's ugly and stupid, but his friends come sit with him during this bad day. Not sure why, since Job seems unruffled by all these afflictions. It's just a spot o' trouble, after all. No big deal. Nothing major happening. Merely lost everything. Oh well.

Job's Calamities.
God dares Satan to be a dick, and Satan is like, "Challenge accepted, mf!" Job, a very rich guy, loses his livestock, his slaves, and his children, yet still, for no discernible reason, praises God. We're thinking this is a bunch of bs, tho, so we say, Pics or it didn't happen.

so it's time for Husband and Wife to play another round of a game called You're Always Wrong. You may be shocked to learn that we've found a few contradictions in the Bible. No wonder it's so easy to cherry-pick quotes to back up any claim!

which is our favorite story of the Bible thus far. These ten quick chapters are full of intrigue, suspense, and cliffhangers. Moreover, the tale still bears important significance for modern Jews, which makes it the first time (for us) that the Bible feels even vaguely relevant. Wife definitely wants to look into donning a pair of Haman shoes!
