Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by telling that Bucks County DA Matt Weintraub will sadly resign from his position to run to be a judge, telling why he’s so disappointed to hear this. Dom explains that, while he’s happy to see Weintraub raise his profile, it’s sad to see the only Republican DA in the local region, one who is absolutely beloved, taken away as a tool to push back against the policies effusing out of Philadelphia and DA Larry Krasner’s office. Then, Dom gives some information about a medical incident suffered by Senator John Fetterman, explaining why he thinks his repeated pushing himself cannot be good for his health.

Then, Ken Coulson, Police Chief of Chester Township and Commander for the Delaware County Major Incident Response Team, calls into the Dom Giordano Program to clear up some confusions about the support he and others are providing to the City of Philadelphia after the Eagles Super Bowl on Sunday. Coulson tells that there will not be 100 officers sent from Delaware County as Dom previously reported, instead saying that that’s the size of the team and only a portion of the team will be providing support.

After that, Dom welcomes legendary Philadelphia sports writer and broadcaster Ray Didinger back onto the Dom Giordano Program to preview the upcoming Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. First, Ray tells us about his return to NBC Sports Philadelphia, telling listeners where they can find his in-depth analysis both prior to and following the game. Then, Didinger tells us the strategy the Eagles must employ if they want to stop the Chiefs high-powered offense, telling that the key all lies with Travis Kelce, brother of Eagles Center Jason Kelce. Also, Didinger tells us who we Eagles fans should focus on to have an impact on the game. Finally, Didinger tells about a book signing tomorrow, asking listeners and fans to come out to meet him.

Then, Dom welcomes Neal Zoren back onto the Dom Giordano Program to tell what’s worth watching on television. First, Dom asks Zoren about Poker Face, a new Peacock series, which Neal says he’s been enjoying more than Murder She Wrote, also arguing that the series is arguably more entertaining than one of his favorites, Monk. Then, Zoren offers his opinion on the very popular The Last of Us on HBO, telling that he can completely understand the love and critical acclaim of the show, particularly the third episode, but argues that he thinks it will become a show that needs to be judged on an episode-to-episode basis.
