The 2023 movie Little Mermaid is the latest example of a movie that was supposed to be a movie for kids, yet the movie was made into the second coming of Spike Lee's epic movie Malcolm X. The movie didn't do well in China because “The Chinese are racist”...until a black NBA player visits China and the player is mobbed. The Little Mermaid, a film where many critics of the movie said the lead actress wasn't the weak link in the movie. This CNN interview is a representation of how a movie for kids is seen as a tool for social justice activists.

Has thing gotten better from the election of those “criminal justice reform, end mass incarceration, criminal are victims, and ‘my laws are guaranteed to get someone killed” district attorneys like Los Angeles District Attorney Gascon, or the one in San Francisco whose parents were active members of the terrorist group The Weather Underground? But now it’s about the non-Anglos, the melanin country, the sexual orientation, hyper-feminism, how many trans, that’s at the forefront of the promotion. When I sit in on meetings, the cringe is high because they’re selling not the story, not the character, no, its about what the character looks like, thinks link, and what group the character represents. Hollywood actors, especially the current generation of talent, too many really don't have knowledge of the comic-book genre, and when they research, the fims revolve around color, gender, etc., Let’s talk about this by reading an article I just came across, link posted in the description….

It became clear when a few days ago, in conversation with several friends, non-Black or Latino, insisted that Black people must work three times as hard as White people to be successful; and that I was wrong for saying that it’s not true. And media makes it a mission to take every opportunity to post articles that continue the narrative that Black skin equals oppression and disadvantage.
