Alun's got the bit between his chattering teeth, as he recounts the attempt he made to stowaway on a research ship sailing to Antarctica. For a long time Alun has wanted to reach Antarctica, after spending a year on each of the world's six other continents. Choosing Ushuaia, Argentina, as his jumping off point, he spent a month knocking on every door in the ship yard.
