In episode 36, I share some truth bombs about how often we let go of our “why” and white knuckle “the how” in our journeys. Doing this is making us stuck, it’s blocking us from growth and manifestation and is moving us away from our why.

In episode 35, my husband takes the mic and shares his top tips for other men to be successful in their relationships/marriages. Marriages take work and I think it was awesome of him to offer to share his perspective. He discusses ways to help your wife feel secure, heard, and connected and how to attack the bigger issues like emotional and physical connection and money. Some of his top ways were:
And as a wife listening, I know that there are just as many things we can do in return to help HIM feel good in the relationship, too. It’s team work and about going through life as best friends who work together. Through our experience, a happy and healthy marriage doesn’t happen by accident, but with a lot of communication, some disagreements and overall a healthy respect for one another.

In episode 34, I open up very candidly about how I have fallen into a self sabotaging routine and continue to snow ball. I discuss this in the big scope of my personal growth journey and how I’m navigating to move through it and find it as a continuation of my growth journey. In the end, I offer 5 tips to help you also move through your self-sabotaging behaviors.

In episode 33, Veronica talks with us about her journey of beginning to fulfill her calling and purpose in life. She shares her story of how she began to step into her purpose, but did so through fear, and in turn, played small. We discuss how much our egos hold us back and not allow us to live in our life purpose, but when we don’t answer our callings, the signs and opportunities become louder. Through fear, Veronica shares how she has been stepping into her purpose to help change women’s lives.
In Veronica’s closed Facebook group, Passion.Purpose.Persist, she offers amazing content including her No F.E.A.R workbook and her No F.E.A.R Webinar series (where yours truly was interviewed!). Be sure to join this community to continue to be inspired by Veronica and the women around her.

In episode 32, I talk about the ups and downs of friendship with women and ultimately how important it is to find your tribe of women. Friendship is powerful and important in our lives and I feel like the most successful relationships grow and survive because they are met with compassion, love and respect for the season and without any judgement. It’s letting things go, seeing all perspectives and respecting the seasons that can truly foster a relationship

In episode 31, I interview my old friend, Cristen of Midwest Meditation, as she talks about her journey in being introduced to meditation during a very low time in her life. Managing motherhood, work, finances and her marriage were priority, but it was feeling hard. After beginning to meditation daily, within one month, she noticed a big change in her ability to attend to her children, how she approached conversations with her husband and how she simply moved through life. There are a lot of take aways from this conversation, enjoy!

In episode 29, I talk about the shame and guilt that is associated with taking time to rest. The limiting beliefs that run as thought loops in our minds without us even knowing, making us feel sad, guilty and ashamed to take time to play, nap, read and simply be still. We have to change this narrative for ourselves and for our society. Taking the necessary time to rest and recover is not lazy. It’s not something to be ashamed of. It doesn’t mean that you won’t get other things done. It doesn’t mean you will lose momentum. It’s slowing down to speed up. Honor your body and your energy. Take the time you need. Practice self-care regularly.

In episode 28, I discuss surrender. It’s a feeling that is so hard to conceptualize and no matter how hard we try, can’t actually understand with our mind. For me it is felt with trust, grace, Source, presence and mindfulness. When we realize that we are not the ones in control and that we will get to where we’re going no matter what, we can get there with more peace and calm through surrender. It’s working through something as it comes up instead of fighting against the possibility of it.

In episode 27, I talk about how the New Year gives great motivation to set new intentions and goals; however, we don’t need the New Year to do this and in fact should be “resetting” throughout the year. Also, how our New Year doesn’t determine how our year will be, but our mindset and our intentions does. In all of this, if we find presence in every single day and lead with love and compassion with our interactions and actions towards our goals, we will inevitably live a life of passion and purpose.
