  • 16 | Money Mindset & How I Paid Off My School Loans

In episode 16, I spend time talking to you about money. Money is truly a tool in life and another form of energy. It’s important to have a healthy relationship with it and find gratitude for when it both comes ind when it goes out. I talk a little bit about my money mindset and how I’ve shifted it over the past year or so and how I then use this mindset to make a plan to pay off $16,000 in school loans in 10 months. I walk you through how I made this decision and put it into action.

My challenge for you this week is to think about one area of money in which you can change your mindset. Mindset will come first, far before paying anything off! Change your relationship with it and watch magic happen.

  • 14 | Is Motherhood Your Biggest Limiting Belief?

In episode 14, I open the discussion of shifting our perspective from motherhood draining us and disconnecting us from who we are to using motherhood as a catalyst to face the challenge of being able to grow into who we are meant to be and find our purpose in life.

Motherhood opens a can of worms for us. It brings up our childhood wounds and our insecurities and are magnified. Society has really glorified motherhood being tired, exhausting and an excuse to not truly care for ourselves and subscribe to the overwhelm. But what if we decided to embrace motherhood and allow it to show us where we need to grow and meeting that challenge. What if we looked at our children as the most amazing teachers in the world that have been given to us instead of inconvenient or draining? How would you change if you changed your perspective.

Do you use motherhood as your biggest limiting belief? Are you allowing it to keep you from experiencing the biggest personal growth spurt you could ever experience? Are you avoiding finding what your purpose is and using motherhood as your excuse?

My challenge for you this week is: turn off all of the noise - the phone and all of the distractions and just watch your kids. How are they looking at the world? How do they approach it? What you could you learn from that? Are they reflecting something about yourself that you want to change? Maybe something they do is what aggravates you the most. Are they a mirror?.

  • 12 | 15 Ways to Support Managing Your Anxiety

In episode 12, I discuss my view on anxiety and how this perspective has changed my mindset and ability to manage it. I also discuss 15 concrete ways that have helped me manage anxiety. As always, these are not end all be all, it is simply a list of things that work for me after years of trial and error. Be sure to consult a physician if changing your diet or adding supplements. • 9 | How Time Steals Us from Our Life
In episode 9, I talk to you about how time steals us from our life.
How often are you truly present? Or are you caught up in the past or the future?
You are missing what is right in front of you. You’re missing out on experiencing your life right before you. If we eliminate the time warp of psychological time, we will feel less sadness and less anxiety. We’ll perceive less problems and learn to just be.
My challenge for you this week is to check in more often to see how present you are. Now may be a good time to consider adding in a meditation practice.

  • 8 | 4 Ways to Protect Our Energy
In episode 8, we talk about how to protect our energy. So many of us go through the day putting ourselves in situations that take energy away from us without realizing how easily we can protect it and get it back. Four easy ways to start protecting your energy are:
Self Care: Be sure to create space for self-care throughout your entire day. This doesn’t have to be big, extravagant or expensive. Getting enough sleep, meditating, enough water, good food and movement all count as self care. Don’t underestimate what a 5 minute midday meditation can do for you!
Be aware of your limiting beliefs: Our inner dialogue is full of our ego telling us what we should and shouldn’t do. “Don’t eat lunch because you won’t get your work done.” “You’re a bad mom because you scheduled time for yourself away from your kids.” Recognize these limiting beliefs and turn them around. “Because you stopped to eat, the work you do after that will be on point!” “Taking time for yourself is going to make you such a good mom.”
You are what you eat. Be mindful of what and who you surround yourself with in a day. The news, what books are you reading, the people. If there is a lot of negativity, it’s time to clean house. Do this with love and compassion, always.
Only do what serves you. Ever have trouble saying no? Be mindful of this. It’s okay to say no to social days or work opportunities if they aren’t serving you and your core desired feelings. Again, say no with love and compassion.
My challenge for you this week is to take inventory of these areas and see how you can change one little thing to begin protecting your energy.

  • 7 | A Spouse's Perspective on Anxiety
In episode 7, I interview my amazing husband, Dustin on his experience of going through my battle of anxiety. About 10 years into our relationship, I was hit with massive anxiety and it took a LOT of work from both of us to come through to the other side. He shares everything he learned in how to support a spouse with anxiety and shares it all. Some of his biggest take aways.
Understanding anxiety isn’t small isolated events but a deeper rooted, long term problem.
Anxiety isn’t a feeling that can be managed in that isolated moment.
Recognizing my triggers and doing what he could to protect me from them so I could continue to focus on my growth and healing.
Recognizing the importance in putting your spouse first during the harder times when it may not feel so easy.
My challenge for you this week is to take the time to recognize how someone else may be feeling who is in your circle and how you can support them. Whether it’s anxiety, depression or simply choosing to live their life a little differently; try and see things from their perspective.
