1983 Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout is the guest this week on the Bodybuilding Legends Podcast. In Part One of his interview, Samir talks about how he started training for bodybuilding in his home country of Lebanon, competing in the Mr. Universe contest as a teenager, relocating to the United States in the 1970's, training at the Mecca of Bodybuilding during the Golden Era, winning the 1979 IFBB Mr. Universe and competing in his first two Mr. Olympia competitions in 1980 and 1981.
