Original Intent (Now  Rumble)

This very day, as over the last one hundred years, Original Intent regarding the interpretation and implementation of the Federal Constitution has been the Federalist Papers. To some extent, like myself, the Anti-federalist Papers are a source for reflection on the predictive pitfalls in human nature that would cause the rise of tyranny and despotism from within execution of the Federal Constitution.

Then the phone call comes last week. It was my friend G. R. Mobley. During the call we discussed my tagline, ‘the Anti-federalist Got It Right,’ to which I ensured G. R. that this tagline is referencing the predictiveness of their writings in relationship to our present time. With that settled, G. R. suggested that I remember the State Ratifying Conventions. Wow, I hadn’t read those in a while.

To have me remember the fact that these debates fundamentally established ‘Original Intent,’ G. R. quoted Madison:

Montpelr. Sepr 15 1821

Dear Sir

I have recd. yours of the 8th. instant on the subject of the proceedings of the convention of 1787.

It is true as the public has been led to understand, that I possess materials for a pretty ample view of what passed in that Assembly. It is true also that it has not been my intention that they should for ever remain under the veil of secrecy. Of the time when it might be not improper for them to see the light, I had formed no particular determination. In general it had appeared to me that it might be best to let the work be a posthumous one, or at least that its publication should be delayed till the Constitution should be well settled by practice, & till a knowlege of the controversial part of the proceedings of its framers could be turned to no improper account. Delicacy also seemed to require some respect to the rule by which the Convention “prohibited a promulgation without leave of what was spoken in it”; so long as the policy of that rule could be regarded as in any degree unexpired. As a guide in expounding and applying the provisions of the Constitution, the debates and incidental decisions of the Convention can have no authoritative character. However desirable it be that they should be preserved as a gratification to the laudable curiosity felt by every people to trace the origin and progress of their political Institutions, & as a source perhaps of some lights on the Science of Govt. the legitimate meaning of the Instrument must be derived from the text itself; or if a key is to be sought elsewhere, it must be not in the opinions or intentions of the Body which planned & proposed the Constitution, but in the sense attached to it by the people in their respective State Conventions where it recd. all the authority which it possesses.

Such being the course of my reflections I have suffered a concurrence & continuance of particular inconveniences for the time past, to prevent me from giving to my notes the fair & full preparation due to the subject of them. Of late, being aware of the growing hazards of postponements, I have taken the incipient steps for executing the task; and the expediency of not risking an ultimate failure is suggested by the Albany publication from the notes of a N. York member of the Convention. I have not seen more of the volume than has been extracted into the newspapers, but it may be inferred from these samples, that it is not only a very mutilated but a very erroneous edition of the matter to which it relates. There must be an entire omission also of the proceedings of the latter period of the Session from which Mr. Yates & Mr.

To the Printers.

‘The agreement of the Merchants of this distressed and insulted continent, to with hold importations from Great Britain, it seems to be allowed on all sides, has the strongest tendency towards the repeal of the acts of parliament for raising a revenue in America without our consent. It is no wonder then, that it was oppos’d with so much vehemence at first, by the Cabal; who knew full well, that their Places and their Pensions, and all the delectable profits which they expected to reap, and are now actually reaping, at the expence of the people in town and country, would entirely cease, if these acts, by the means of which their places, pensions and profits arise should be repealed—When they could no longer with any face call it the last efforts of a dying faction, (for the measure was so rational and pacific, that it soon spread far and wide, and was chearfully adopted by all disinterested friends of the country thro’-out the continent) they put on the appearance of the Sons of Liberty; and now their cry is, Where is that Liberty so much boasted of and contended for? We hear them very gravely asking, Have we not a right to carry on our own trade and sell our own goods if we please? who shall hinder us?

Legal Restoration

I have now been searching for mechanisms for the Legal Restoration of Constitutionalism and True Federalism. I have yet to find an easy answer.

Frankly, Legal Restoration requires the Madison and J. Adams comment regarding Constitutionalism being ‘only for a moral and virtuous/religious people.’ And the village idiot can see that we are grossly in a far cry from moral or virtuous, let alone religious as a people. More so, throw 90% of the bureaucrats into the immoral oath breaking category and I’ll be kind, 87% of the politicians lumped in with the majority.

The Legal Restoration of Constitutionalism and True Federalism is your and my challenge. In this program I introduce you to the various writings in the references below that give background to everything in this program.

Religion of Science and Human Sacrifice

In Episode #300 I covered the new religion in US Governance and the population as well. With the article that is Reference #12 below, we now zero on Science, especially medical so called science. As you will hear on the program and in the references, experimentation as well as human sacrifice are seen for the ‘greater good.’ The depravity, lack of Foundational morality, of the so called medical professionals and scientists is in essence comparable to the Uganda witchdoctors practices.

The chasing of dollars for research is morally bankrupt. But hey, as I paraphrase Fauci would say, the risks don’t matter. It’s about the gains

Thank You and Introduction

Before delving into the mirrors of history regarding our present Vile Congressional Oligarchy, I want to thank all the great Patriots from the Ohio Freedom Fighters in Medina that had me speaking this past Wednesday. I look forward to another opportunity to visit with them in the future

As way of introduction to this weeks program regarding the Quartering of Troops for A Vile Congressional Oligarchy, I had intended to discuss De-Valued American Virtue – Vile Bile and Putrid Vomit. In this program I give the opening salvo of this being what the national virtue is.

Oh, there are the Patriots and even some Patriot Pastors but, for what we see at all levels of governance and in education and, in culture, well, I believe the words after the dash describes America precisely.

Quartering Troops

No different than in 1768, the placing of troops in Washington D. C. with the fencing off the City is an act of aggravated assault on the Citizenry of America. The Boston Quartering Act, to quote Sam Adams is to,

‘…I dare challenge them, or any others to prove that there was the least necessity for them here, for the professed purpose of their coming, namely to prevent or subdue rebels and traitors: I will further venture to affirm, that he must be either a knave or a fool, if he has any tolerable acquaintance with the people of this town and province, nay, that he must be a traitor himself who asserts it. I know very well, that the whole continent of America is charged by some designing men with treason and rebellion, for vindicating their constitutional and natural rights: But I must tell these men on both sides the atlantic (both sides of the political aisle), that no other force but that of reason & sound argument on their part, of which we have hitherto seen but precious little, will prevail upon us, to relinquish our righteous claim…’

I walk you through the mirrors of history on the actions of Congress regarding January 6, 2021 and the Quartering Act of 1768. Sam Adams letter Signed “VINDEX” brings the underlying treachery of ‘designing men’ and women in our present time, to the not so quantum leap of time. You are correct in that the heart of mankind, the sinfulness, has not changed and sadly the Anti-Federalists predicted this very moment.

Anti-Federalist Prediction of Vile Congressional Oligarchy

Here is were the rubber meets the road or better, the mirrors of history are the shattered by being locked in H. G. Wells’s ‘Time Machine’ set in the 18th Century. The Vile Congressional Oligarchy is detailed for us. Legislating Morality 

Those on that are godless and of the socialists, Marxist, fascist, generally left political views scream at defenders of Constitutionalism and Judeo-Christian Foundations: ‘YOU CAN’T GO AROUND LEGISLATING MORALITY!’ Really?

We have been and are in the battle of ideologies no different than in the Founders day. It is critical that we understand that those who are Constitutionally minded must be God minded as the Founders were. With that, the question of legislating morality is a simple one in that every law, every ordinance, every resolution and every court judgement is making a moral determination on the people and society to which it is being applied. Hence, the real question is: Whose and which morality is being Legislated?

Legislating Morality – Free Speech

Hearing after speaking. I wanted to share this video-blog post from Doug Wilson that I happened to listen to after I had already produced my program for the producers. Hopefully you will go listen to it after my program is released tomorrow. OK, that was levity…You can listen to Pastor Wilson when it works for you.

Doug impressed me with his perspective on what ‘free speech would look like in a Christian Theocracy.’ Why, you ask? Well because Sam Adams in developing his arguments of true republicanism took the same position as Doug quantifies in his posting. Keeping It Short

I was temped to compile a volume of original foundational material on Legislating Morality. My better judgement of time and resources convinced me that these short comments and leaving you with the resources of the program and some examples of present legislative or what I call inductive morality would be a better way to go. Therefore instead of my normal long windedness I will keep it short.

NOT! When can I keep anything short?

* The program itself is in a contemplative tone since the subject matter is controversial even in Patriot and Christian thinking.

* Sam Adams letter to James Warren of July 14, 1778 – primary quote:

‘I have long been apprehensive, you know, that false Ideas of Politeness would injure the Minds of our Countrymen and prove destructive to Morals and Liberty. But I own, I did not expect that the most ridiculous Folley would have taken so early and large a Stride as it appears to have done in the Instance you mention.’1

* Rev. Doctor John Witherspoon’s Lectures on Moral Society – Sadly, as much as what Witherspoon writes is Biblically sound, especially as it relates to law and morality, his influence of the Scottish Enlightenment overshadow his intent regarding philosophy, ethics and morals. What I mean by this is that those that he mentored, as in James Madison and other Constitutional framers, did not hold strongly to the Scottish Reformation theology on government and moved closer to humanistic concepts that allowed for the further degeneration of societal morality and that in government. Be assured that he does believe that ‘reason’ should be used to fight fire with fire of the godless yet, the methodology in rhetoric has been lost to the ‘infidels’ noted in footnote number 3. A key quote:

‘An author of New England,2 says, moral philosophy is just reducing infidelity to a system. But however specious the objections, they will be found at bottom not solid.3 — If the Scripture is true, the discoveries of reason cannot be contrary to it;’ and therefore,

The Subversion of Oaths, Government and Liberty by Present Day Elected and Bureaucrats 

The Subversion of Oaths, Government and Liberty by Present Day Elected and Bureaucrats is a result of the change in the national religion. As you will read in the letters of Samuel Adams posted here, every aspect of a loss of liberty, property and life is contrasted between our present time and Sam’s writings.

Those serving in government and bureaucracies, who have given an ‘oath’ when entering into their offices, have no understanding of the foundational principles which Sam writes to be true and God designed. When it comes to principles, here is a quote that was to Thomas Jefferson in 1891:

‘No man can be fit to sustain an office who cannot consent to the principles by which he must be governed.’

I would like it to be noted that a carful reading of Sam Adams letter to the State Legislature and even Thomas Jefferson are full of Foundational governance principles as well as those root principles noted in Chapter XXII and XXIII of the Westminster Confession. Remember that Sam actually lived every aspect of his Puritan heritage and beliefs.

For this week your assignment is to read these letters and understand the fundamental principles of governance as well as the necessity to demand and even fight to know and retain our God given Rights. More so, school district board members should learn from Sam the fundamental core principles as quoted here:

‘Another presents itself to my mind, which I think is indeed great and important; I mean the education of our children and youth. Perhaps the minds even of infants may receive impressions, good or bad, at an earlier period than many imagine. It has been observed, that “education has a greater influence on manners, than human laws can have.” Human laws excite fears and apprehensions, least crimes committed may be detected and punished: But a virtuous education is calculated to reach and influence the heart, and to prevent crimes. A very judicious writer, has quoted Plato, who in shewing what care for the security of States ought to be taken of the education of youth, speaks of it as almost sufficient to supply the place both of Legislation and Administration. Such an education, which leads the youth beyond mere outside shew, will impress their minds with a profound reverence of the Deity, universal benevolence, and a warm attachment and affection towards their country. It will excite in them a just regard to Divine Revelation, which informs them of the original character and dignity of Man; and it will inspire them with a sense of true honor, which consists in conforming as much as possible, their principles, habits, and manners to that original character. It will enlarge their powers of mind, and prompt them impartially to search for truth in the consideration of every subject that may employ their thoughts; and among other branches of knowledge, it will instruct them in the skill of political architecture and jurisprudence; and qualify them to discover any error, if there should be such, in the forms and administration of Governments, and point out the method of correcting them. But I need not press this subject, being persuaded, that this Legislature from the inclination of their minds, as well as in regard to the duty enjoined by the Constitution, will cherish “the interest of Literature, the Sciences and all their Seminaries.”

Polytheism Officially U.S Religion 

This weeks program discusses the 2021 National Day of Prayer – Polytheism then on to the definition of Patriotism – Are you one and then the contrast of the ‘resident’ O’biden’s Proclamation and Samuel Adams February 19, 1794 Proclamation as Lt. Governor, which is below in the Sam Adams Wisdom section.

Polytheism?

Hot off the White House Briefing Room: The National Day of Prayer is polytheistic – Quote with emphasis added:

‘Throughout our history, Americans of many religions and belief systems have turned to prayer for strength, hope, and guidance. Prayer has nourished countless souls and powered moral movements — including essential fights against racial injustice, child labor, and infringement on the rights of disabled Americans. Prayer is also a daily practice for many, whether it is to ask for help or strength, or to give thanks over blessings bestowed.’

And remember the debate on the U. S. House floor regarding the so called ‘equality act’ where Representative Nadler rebuked Representative Steube for reading Scripture during the debate? Nadler stated:

“Mr. Steube,” he said pointedly, “what any religious tradition describes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress.“

We have watched and allowed the enemies of God to become the political, educational and religious leaders in these United States. As described in ‘The Discreet Charm of Polytheism’ November 9, 2014 By Jessa Crispin:

‘For a while, we believed in monotheism. Our God was a jealous God, so it became important to proselytize and convert others who did not believe. It was crucial, we thought, that the entire world share our one, jealous God. Our God was our one observer and judge, our only source of consolation and assistance. Because there was only the one God who stood between us and either eternal life or eternal torment, we were given a list of rules about what exactly our God wanted from us. It became important not only that we obeyed these rules, but also that all of humanity obeyed them. But this, too, turned out to be wrong, and so things changed.

Now we believe in science. We believe that the universe is knowable, and that our understanding of it is attained through empirical observation, logic, and rational thought. We believe that we are here by accident, by a series of causes and effects. One day we will know and understand the original cause and the final effect.

And we are totally sure we have it right this time.’

So now, we have the ‘god’ Fouci with his priests at the CDC and the various States Health Department directors instantiating the rituals of muzzling/masking and being shot…vaccinated. And yes there are those other ‘gods’ and their priests with congregants: ‘abortion.’ ‘critical race theory,’ ‘climate change,’ ‘revisionism via 1619 project,’ ‘cancel culture,’ ‘no-gender gender-phobia’ to list the top few.

I have to ask One primary question: Where are the Pulpits?

The following two papers set the stage for my insistence that Polytheism in the Religion of these United States in that –

‘Weber’s theory suggests a religious sociology, one that applies to modern science as much as it does to pre-modern monotheisms, to political leaders of nation-states and professionals as much as priests and other kinds of religious specialists. If we take Weber’s god-talk seriously, institutional theory becomes a genre of comparative religions.

Matt Trewhella 

This week I have a great conversation with Pastor Matt Trewhella. Matt talks about how he became involved with the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate. He takes us from Interposition for the unborn to the present where elected and bureaucrats across the country are beginning to act according to their Oath of Office. This means Interposing tyrannical and despotic law, bureaucratic rules and court dispositions.

Before Matt Trewhella finding a person to translate the Magdeburg Confession, you could only read it in Latin or German. It is no wonder this doctrine was lost to the pulpits – the ‘semitaries’ stopped teaching Latin so the pulpits have become ignorant of many Foundational Reformation truths.

Let me further say that because we have dumbed down education, there is not the deep learning to find the historical and theological truths unless, unless by some movement of the Spirit a pastor will search on his own for these deeper divine and extensible facts of the Sovereignty of God in all of life. That includes the civil government and that civil rulers are accountable to God first and the people second. When all the truth is not taught from the pulpits then that which is not held under the sovereignty of God is given over to evil.

Mayhew before Matt Trewhella

Now I mentioned over the last few weeks that Jonathan Mayhew actually supported proper action against tyranny and despotism by the Citizenry with just cause. I want to introduce you to quotes that gave the Citizens of the Colonies the Biblical Basis to resist tyranny. For pastors that misrepresent Romans 13 let me say this, If the true understanding of the Biblical Reformation theology of resisting evil, tyranny and despotism, was not preached at the nations founding, you would not be teaching your false interpretation because you would all be Anglicans.

Quotes from Mayhew’s A Discourse Concerning Unlimited Submission and Non-Resistance to the Higher Power:

“It is blasphemy to call tyrants and oppressors, God’s ministers. They are more properly the messengers of satan to buffet us. No rulers are properly God’s ministers, but such as are just, ruling in the fear of God. When once magistrates act contrary to their office, and the end of their institution ; when they rob and ruin the public, instead of being guardians of its peace and welfare ; they immediately cease to be the ordinance and ministers of God ; and no more deserve that glorious character than common pirates and highwaymen. So that whenever that argument for submission, fails, which is grounded upon the usefulness of magistracy to civil society, (as it always does when magistrates do hurt to society instead of good) the other argument, which is taken from their being the ordinance of God, must necessarily fail also ; no person of a civil character being God’s minister, in the sense of the apostle, any farther than he performs God’s will, by exercising a just and reasonable authority ; and ruling for the good of the subject.”

I look at the next quote in particular as relevant to the ChicomFlu debacle and the forced muzzling/masking of Citizens when it is well documented that the government solution is not a solution but political tyranny.

‘For, please to observe, that if the end of all civil government,

Earth Day 

Did you really realize that it was Earth Day? I awoke to the early light coming through the blinds and was thankful that God still had something for me to do on ‘earth.’

But wait, the whole political world went into great convulsions of ecstasy that Earth Day is here to celebrate. The idols of air, trees, dirt and water merge on the shores of mindful millions that the planet must be saved. At what expense?

Where are the Christian churches in this great celebration? Isn’t all that sustains animate and inanimate life worthy of giving everything to in the necessity of its preservation?

OK… Enough! I will not belabor the destruction of humanity for idolatry in the insanity of those worshiping what they have created in their own minds. Worse, the political, corporate and intelligentsia classes are laughing as they use marketing, fear and global political power to subjugate the citizenry of these United States. Now the question is: Who will standup and fight against these godless idolaters? Who will interpose for our Liberty, God given rights, the Christian religion and Foundational Constitutionalism

In countering Earth Day and the climate change religion, we would expect the preamble to the Magdeburg Confession to read as I have edited it bolded and underlined:

If the high authority of the president and congress does not refrain from unjustly and forcibly persecuting not only the lives of citizens of these United States but even more their rights under divine and natural law as well as the Federal Constitution and the Constitutions of the various States, and if the high authority of the president and congress does not desist from eradicating true doctrine and true worship of God by executive order and various laws, then the lower magistracy is required by God’s divine command to attempt, together with their local citizenry, to stand up to such superiors as far as possible. The current persecution which we are suffering at the hands of our superiors is primarily persecution by which they attempt to suppress the true Christian religion and the true worship of God and to reestablish the environmentalist and climate change proponents lies and abominable idolatry. Thus the Local Elected and State Elected and each and every Christian authority is obliged to protect themselves and their people against this.

Beza would look upon Earth Day in its complete picture which would include the tyranny of imposing a false religion with the homage of tax dollars going to support it and the imposition of mandates made by higher authorities that dehumanize God’s creation of man. With that, Beza would see that those who are elected as well as the bureaucracies under their control are not serving the Biblical Reformation God of our nations founding.

As John Witte, Jr. writes regarding Beza’s adopted position on civil authority and the Lesser Magistrates:

‘God ordained the “three main estates” of church, state, and family to keep order and peace in this sinful world so that the Gospel can flourish and each person can pursue his or her God-given calling, the ‘Magdeburg’ Confession argued, citing sundry biblical texts. ESG – Environmental, Social, Governance 

ESG is echoing in the chambers of concerned Citizens, bloggers, pundits and tinfoil hatters. Yet, ESG has been around for decades. It is the leopard that can change its spots. Let me tease you with this so that you will listen to the program:

Actually, you are the ones causing ESG to be implemented via your investments in 401k’s, union pension plans and allowing the social justice warriors to lead in the corporate board rooms.

I know, You didn’t know you are culpable. You were and are busy at living in a quasi-liberty that has been captivated in ‘the Matrix’ for more than 100 years. Well, its time to get ‘Unplugged.’

Corporate Collusion and ESG

How is it that corporations force employees to wear masks? How is it that patrons of businesses let them dictate wearing masks? How is it that you will be required to have your shot hall pass or travel pass?

Start back in 1913 with the key Amendment of that time. Think about the effects of the 16th Amendment for today and consider the mechanisms established in the Constitution for funding the Limited role of government. Now think about bureaucratic rule and the ruling class with corporations leading the policy definition.

Consider California Assembly Bill 979 which requires California-based corporate boards to have a certain makeup. And remember, that the Business Roundtable has been influencing and/or directing local, state and federal policy since 1978.

Yupper, based on what a company can deliver to government via contracts or legislative incentive – government will deliver incentives to government.. Hmmm, you are getting the picture – right? More to be said about this on the program.

ESG – What’s Next for America?

It is going to be an extremely hard challenge for this present day America. Every single one of us is tied into ‘the Matrix’ one way or another. It is not that easy to pull the plug like the Citizens of the founding era did with the ‘Non-importation Agreements.’ We all will have to make serious choices. Not to just do as President Trump keeps calling for – boycotts – but with sober somber and thoughtful considerations as to how you will live without. That ‘without’ may be cable, cell service choices, where you buy, what you buy… you have to look hard at that just as during the period of 1765 to 1770.
