In the 12th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan highlights the supreme value of human birth. He explains that even celestial beings must take human form to attain liberation, for only in a human incarnation is moksha possible.
The scriptures explain how to attain Self-knowledge. From Brahma, Brihaspati receives this wisdom, the immortal art, the knowledge of the Self. Brihaspati teaches it to Vishva. Then he passes it to his elder son, and the knowledge continues through generations. Indra, the king of the gods, goes to Prajapati to receive this Self-knowledge. Whether one is Indra, Chandra, or Surya, they must take human birth to attain liberation. Think about it. You are greater than Chandra, Surya, and even Devendra. Yet you behave as if you know nothing. You keep going around the Moon, the Sun, and the planets. They are actually waiting to serve you. But you go to them and say, “Seven-and-a-half years of Saturn.” In truth, Saturn does good to us. People even say that Saturn (Sani) is exalted for Gurumahan. What does exaltation mean? It means being at the highest state.
So Saturn is good. Everything is good. Whatever happened was good.

In the 12th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan speaks about the intense longing of Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan to realize the Divine within Himself. This deep inner quest led to the revelation of rare and sacred wisdom. Gurumahan further shares that this precious spiritual knowledge, once considered hidden and extraordinary, is being compassionately offered even today to all seekers at UPF, Thirumoorthi Hills.
Truth alone exists. All living beings in this world are expressions of Brahman. However, beings that function only with five senses cannot realize this truth. Human beings possess the sixth sense, the ability to think and inquire, and therefore they have the capacity to understand it.
In the Puranas, God takes human form. He appears as Rama, Krishna, Balarama, Vamana, and in many other incarnations. Though creation evolves through many stages, the highest expression of Divine incarnation is the human form. So if you have come from God, who are you? You too are Divine incarnations.
Whenever people forget the Divine and become attached to the body, mind, and intellect, righteousness declines in the world. At such times, Divine incarnations appear. They first realize the Truth within themselves and then reveal the Divine nature hidden within humanity. They guide people back to dharma and show the path toward God.
Though many such great beings have appeared on Earth, most of them did not openly share the complete path to Self-realization with everyone. They initiated only a few sincere seekers and kept the deeper spiritual secrets hidden. That is why Holy scriptures containing hidden truths were preserved as secret teachings meant only for the worthy.
With the noble intention that everyone should receive this Divine secret, an incarnation appeared in the year 1900. Though born into a simple family and engaged in the diamond trade, he carried an intense longing to see God.
On 11-11-1911, through deep yearning and inner inquiry, He directly realized the Supreme within himself. The one who sees the entire universe within and sees himself in all beings is a Brahma Jnani, one who has realized Brahman.
In that supreme state, Jagat Mahaguru Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan received this secret teaching on 7-1-1938. He practiced austerity in solitude, remained steadfast in the teaching He received, and attained the highest wisdom.
Your true and natural state is itself the state of Brahman. You are Brahman.
Siddhar is one who has mastered the mind, realized Shiva within, and known the Self. Siddhars understood the principles of the body, the inner being, and the life force. Because of this deep realization, they were able to create sacred sounds, powerful mantras, and spiritual medicines.

In the 12th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan explains the essence of divine qualities as love, compassion, knowledge, and forgiveness, highlighting that even a single minute of heartfelt meditation enables us to internalize and embody these Divine attributes within ourselves.
First reflect within yourself: Is this a true need or just a desire? Are you choosing what is right or what is comfortable? Who is God? God is love. God is wisdom, strength, bliss, peace, compassion, kindness, patience, balance, sacrifice, forgiveness, and the ability to let go.
Then who are you? You too are beings filled with compassion and kindness. If our Divine Father is compassionate, should we not also reflect the same nature? Just as we say a child resembles their grandfather, even in temperament, we inherit Divine qualities as well. Therefore, learn to see God in everyone. See God in your mother, your father, your brothers and sisters. What does a true Guru do? The Guru sees all as divine, just as He sees Himself. As disciples, you must learn to do the same. Who are you? You are not the body. You are not the mind. You are not the intellect. You are the soul, the Divine presence that exists beyond all these layers. That inner reality is God.
Meditation helps you realize this truth. Care for your body, discipline your mind, refine your intellect, but understand that the Divine within transcends them all. With this awareness, may you reach the supreme state, the highest abode, Paranthamam. When the physical body falls away, you will unite with that Divine truth. This is the eternal truth. Let us sit in silence for a moment.
If righteous and just governance prevails across nations, hunger will disappear. Pride in wealth will fade. Instead of worshipping countless forms, let humanity recognize one Divine reality and one human family.
May all attain true happiness. True happiness is the expression of God. Let the sacred name Santhosham spread everywhere and fill the world with supreme bliss.

In the 12th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan speaks about Moksha Sthalam, explaining that anyone who is drawn to UPF at Thirumurthi Hills is not coming by chance, but is being guided there for liberation. He emphasizes UPF, Thirumurthi Hills is meant for moksha and that those who arrive are destined for spiritual awakening.
Today, this place (UPF, Thirumurthi Hills, Udumalpet) is a Moksha sthalam, not merely a holy site. Whoever comes here will experience sorrow, hardship, pain, and many trials. These challenges are certain. Yet you are the ones who have faced them and overcome them. You possess courageous hearts even amidst difficulties. In earlier times, seekers were tested before receiving this Kundalini Initiation (Gnana Upadesam). But this is Kali Yuga; if such strict tests were given now, such a gathering would not be possible.
The disciples are everready to test the Guru, but they expect the Guru should never test them. That shows the depth of disciples love for the Guru (adds Gurumahan jokingly). The purpose of this Gnana Peedam is to give Upadesam and then observe the seekers. It does not deny material things like money. It gives and watches how one uses what is given.
You are not ordinary souls. Across many births, you have visited many holy places and temples with the sincere intention of realizing the true Divine. That is why you have come here now. The deeper reason for your arrival is this: this is your final birth. You will not receive another human body. This present physical body must support you fully in this life. There is no need for rebirth. You are meant to transform into a body of light. From that realization comes what is called Viveka Mukti.
Liberation while still in the body is one state. Some attain Viveka Mukti even shortly after leaving the body, once they have received this Gnana Upadesam. But you are not those who wait until the final moment of death, concentrating between the eyebrows or at the Crown, hoping to cross the mystery of death and gain liberation. You are not seekers who search for Mukti only at the last breath.
You understand the state of liberation even now. At any time, you can leave the physical body without hesitation or fear. You have removed the fear of death. Such a person is called a Jivan Mukta. Therefore, all who receive this wisdom here can live as liberated beings while still alive.
They remain steady in pleasure and pain, in liking and disliking, in profit and loss, in heat and cold. Their minds stay balanced in all conditions. That is why the Gita describes such a person as Sthita Prajna. The Upanishads express this truth as “Prajnanam Brahma.”
What is Prajnanam? It is not the waking state, not the dream state, and not the deep sleep state. It is the Divine awareness (MeiUnarvu - Fourth state of consciousness) that exists beyond even sleep. When one abides steadily in that inner awareness, one lives here itself as a Jivan Mukta.

In the 12th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan emphasizes that one should sincerely pray for the constant remembrance of the Divine within in Kali Yuga, and He explains the deeper purpose of pilgrimage as an opportunity for inner transformation rather than mere ritual travel.
The mind delights in the pleasures it receives through the senses and longs to repeat those experiences. Yet these pleasures never give lasting satisfaction, so the mind remains unable to turn inward and go beyond them. For this reason, a true Satguru is necessary. Though there are many gurus in the world, knowledge itself is of two kinds: Para Gnana and Apara Gnana.
Para Gnana is the knowledge of what is eternal, true, indestructible, and all pervading. It is the knowledge of the Supreme Reality. Apara Gnana refers to all other forms of knowledge that arise from that Supreme source. The sixty four arts and every worldly skill belong to Apara Jnana. No matter how much one masters these, they alone cannot lead to realization of the Supreme.
Therefore, these skills should be used to steady and focus the mind. With a concentrated mind, one should meditate on the Divine within. By constant remembrance, one gradually becomes what one contemplates. Just as a worm, constantly aware of the wasp that stung it, transforms in nature, so too a person becomes shaped by repeated thought. The mind takes the form of what it dwells upon. If one keeps thinking, I am unwell, that thought becomes reality. If one affirms, I am well, that too shapes experience.
For this reason, repeating the sacred name of the Supreme Divine Light is enough. We live in Kali Yuga. In this age, intense penance and deep yogic attainment are difficult. Earlier times offered environments that supported such practices. Today, the senses are constantly drawn outward by surrounding distractions. Dharma weakens. Truth, justice, love, discipline, patience, compassion, sacrifice, and forgiveness decline. In such conditions, sustained austerity becomes rare and easily disturbed.
Instead of striving for severe penance, one should hold firmly to remembrance of God. It is enough to pray for the grace never to forget the Divine. That is why chanting the holy name is emphasized. Our ancestors even gave their children divine names such as Shiva, Hari, Karthikeyan, and Vinayagan so that God’s name would be spoken daily. In Kali Yuga, sincerely repeating the Divine Name itself fulfills the purpose of life.
By chanting instead of speaking idle or harmful words, one gathers merit rather than sin. Merit leads to higher realms. Beyond Bhuloka and Bhuvarloka lies Swargaloka, the realm of heavenly joy, where one experiences happiness like the Devas for as long as merit remains. When that merit is exhausted, one takes another noble birth. Such is the fruit of virtuous action.
There are many sacred places in the world, including Kashi and Rameswaram. Visiting them, bathing in their waters, and worshipping there brings merit. Yet bathing alone does not erase wrongdoing. The heart must transform. Pilgrimage is not merely ritual cleansing. Holy places are sanctified by the presence of sages, ascetics, yogis, and realized souls who lived and practiced there. When visiting such places, one should seek their blessings, receive their guidance, and grow spiritually. This is the true purpose of visiting sacred river confluences, temples, and undertaking pilgrimages.

In the 12th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan explains the deeper meaning of the 11:11 and also creates awareness on why we return to sensual pleasure even after tasting Supreme Bliss!
You have deep devotion, faith, and trust in the Guru. The purpose of the twelve Velvis (Holy Penance) is only one. The Guru wishes that every disciple and true devotee who comes to Him should receive the grace of the Almighty and rise to the highest state by becoming one with the Divine. Even after eleven Velvis, you remain unchanged. You praise the strength of the Guru and the disciples, but will you truly transform so easily?
You say, “Even if we fast without food, sleep, speech, or sight, you cannot turn us quickly toward God. You may remain united with Him if you wish. We have come to this earth and we want to experience this worldly life fully. Why did God give us the five senses? The eyes are to see, the ears are to hear, the nose is to smell, the tongue is to taste and speak, and the hands and legs are to move and search. We do not know exactly what we are searching for, but we feel the need to search. You have already experienced and realized the Truth, so you speak joyfully about that state. We still have many things to taste and many places to see. After we feel complete in these experiences, then we will think about supreme bliss. You are there for us. Whenever we return, you will guide us again. We have that faith. So we continue to experience life through the senses. If the Velvis had truly given results, would you not all be living as liberated beings (JivanMukthi)? Pleasure and pain belong only to the body, not to the soul.”
The number eleven holds special meaning. The great Guru Paranjothi Gnanavallal attained enlightenment on 11.11.1911 at 11 hours 11 minutes and 11 seconds. Those who have firm faith in the Guru often notice 11.11 appearing again and again. There is a deep connection with this number. It seems those who are expressions of the Divine respond to it.
Every day we take a vow to establish Sathya Yuga before the year 2000. Whether we establish it or the Guru establishes it, we will join in it. Any discipline takes twelve years to mature. The twelfth year becomes the great Yagna for world welfare. During this Yagna, the wisdom teachers and the seekers stayed with the Guru for twenty one days. They fasted even without water and resolved to gain true realization.
What is that realization? When you know the One, you know everything. That One is Brahman. Brahman is Truth. Brahman is eternal and everlasting. It never changes and never disappears. In the beginning only that One existed. From that One everything has emerged. What was once one Supreme Light now shines through all. Each of you is truly a manifestation of that Supreme Brahman.

In the 11th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan unfolds a deep inquiry into the nature of the Self, stirring the intellect to seek the Divine within rather than through the distractions of the sense organs.
Our eyes are the first sense organs that takes us to materialistic world. You cannot see God with your physical eyes. You see only outer objects. The Divine state exists inside those objects and within you. When you seek God, understand that the Divine is within you. How long will you search outside? How many births will you take? Is your suffering not enough? Human life is full of longing, sorrow, and worry. The only way to end this suffering is to realize the Divine state. The body is born, grows, weakens, and dies, but the soul never dies. You suffer because you move away from your center of awareness (MeiUnarvu). See the Supreme Divine light within you. Do not look with outer eyes; look with the eye of wisdom at the space between your eyebrows. Turn inward. The pleasures of the world do not last. They change and fade. True and permanent joy does not come from worldly things. It comes from the true awareness (MeiUnarvu) within you. Go beyond body feelings and become steady awareness. Feel the pure consciousness at the crown of your head. From there, your awareness expands beyond the moon, the sun, and the galaxies, and joins the center of the Universe. That is your true home. In that state, you and the Divine are not separate. This union is liberation. Yogic practices help you return to this oneness. When you merge with the Universal Consciousness, you are filled with boundless love, profound wisdom, vibrant energy, deep peace, and pure bliss. You rise as the Supreme light itself. Live with truth, love, and courage. Then Grace and prosperity will grow in your life. You will live with fulfillment in this world and beyond. Practice meditation daily and realize the truth of “I.” Attain the highest state.

In the 11th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan warmly invites all seekers to come to Thirumoorththi Hills Ashram and receive the shower of Divine grace and boundless love that awaits them there.
You have come to understand the state of liberation. Now, what will you do with this precious birth granted by the Supreme? You must fulfill your noble responsibilities. None of us knows how long we will remain here. The breath we draw in sleep may not return. That is why we should sincerely say “good night” each day. If we awaken the next morning, it is purely by God’s grace.
If you truly believed that you had only one day to live, what would you do? You would choose only what is good. You would not feel inclined to scold or hurt anyone. You would not postpone goodness for tomorrow. Today alone belongs to you. The one who was here yesterday may not be here today. The one who is here today may not be here tomorrow. We know this truth, yet we rarely live with that awareness.
So, be joyful today. Everyone who comes to GnanaPeedam ( UPF, Thirumoorthi Hills ) is human; therefore, let us express true humanity. It is our duty to welcome all with pure love, free from expectation. Genuine love cannot be purchased in this world; it is received as grace. This is not a shower of material wealth, but a shower of divine grace. Love, compassion, patience, and serenity continually flow in this GnanaPeedam.
This Holy place is always here for you. Make use of it every day (10 am - 5.30 pm during Penance). Shine as seekers of truth and wisdom. My wholehearted blessings to you all. Live in happiness.

Gurumahan in the 11th Velvi Discourse, talks about the GnanaPeedam - the Universal Peace Foundation was established to help seekers move beyond external searching and awaken to this inner state of clarity, love, and courage. When awareness becomes focused (MeiUnarvu), human limitation dissolves and life begins to align with truth, the cosmic energy.
The proclamation of the Sathya Yuga did not arise from this Earth; but from the center of the Universe. Everything that comes from that center comes from truth. From now on, this Sathya Yuga will spread thought waves every day from this Tattva-Dhava-Gnana Peedam (UPF, Thirumoorththi Hills, Tamil Nadu). Not everyone benefits easily, because many people lack the power to attract Cosmic energy. Countless energies come from the Sun, but we need a convex lens to focus them. In the same way, when you sit here and reach a focused state of awareness (MeiUnarvu), the central Cosmic energy will draw you in. That is why many yoga practitioners say that after a certain stage they felt a Divine light calling them or a force guiding them; they describe these as soul experiences. We established this Jnana Peedam to give you the chance to reach that state. At any time, from morning to evening, you may use this place, practice meditation, connect with the Cosmic center, understand truth, rise through penance, shine as wise beings, and reveal the principles of God, nature, and truth. We bless you to become such enlightened souls who perform rare deeds. Your duty is to live truthfully, see everyone with love, and practice Divine truth with understanding. You are born from the courage of “I am,” so that same courage must awaken within you.

In the 11th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan teaches that Shiva is not merely to be worshipped but realized through His qualities, for Love itself is Shiva, and wherever love shines, Shiva is present. Seekers come to Universal Peace Foundation to receive Kundalini awakening because it offers a direct, lived experience that dissolves inner limitations, awakens higher awareness, and transforms daily life through sustained inner clarity and love.
The Supreme Reality exists as everything, both seen and unseen. It is the essence of everything and also the power that moves all things. The energy that moves the Universe is called Kundalini energy. This Kundalini energy is Cosmic energy, solar energy, lunar energy, and the force that moves the Earth. It is also the seed inside the lotus and the life force present in all beings. Therefore, the penance we practice is Kundalini penance. This penance is Cosmic penance, Divine penance, and God-realization penance meant to attain the divine state.
We must place that Supreme Truth (MeiUnarvu) at the Crown and experience it with awareness. From that state, whatever you seek, you can receive. The mind must see God through inner vision, not with the hands or outer eyes. God exists as the hidden essence that is present everywhere. That hidden essence is the center of the Universe from which all movement begins and into which all returns. This is called the Linga, meaning the point where everything dissolves into origin. This is also called Om, which begins and ends in the same source.
By realizing this silent bliss, my beloved disciples must preserve this Divine vibration (MeiUnarvu). This state is not limited to one place; wherever you think, it reaches. It harms no being. When a yogi connects the Crown of his awareness to the a center, he experiences pure love. Love is God; Love is Shiva.
When anyone sits in the ashram (UPF, JnanaPeedam, Thirumoorthi Hills) and practices meditation, he sheds his limited nature and attains the nature of Shiva. The nature of Shiva is love, compassion, patience, tolerance, sacrifice, forgiveness, and forgetting hurts. All Divine qualities arise in one who reaches the Cosmic center. You possess the power to increase countless energies, and you already know this. By heightened awareness in daily meditation, you receive subtle Cosmic energies through the Crown. These Divine energies transform into life energy and positive intention within you. Your pure thoughts then flow into the Universe and become strong and powerful. These waves of thought spread, and one day, people of every kind will realize this truth.
