In the 11th Velvi discourse (2001), Gurumahan guides seekers toward a subtle inner inquiry, discovering the silent witness that abides through waking, dream, and deep sleep.
You do penance for others. Does it give you joy, hope, or experience? If not, you cannot stay committed to meditation. Sometimes, in a single day during the Holy penance, people have deep experiences, forget hunger and thirst, and even fall asleep without knowing where they are. Gurumahan jokingly adds sleeping during meditation is a higher state of bliss. We are the ones who experience that bliss. But to realize it, we need awareness, and that awareness must remain even during sleep. We know when we eat, bathe, study, or play. But do we know when we sleep? Many people do not realize they are dreaming. Only after the dream ends do they understand it was a dream. While dreaming, the dream world feels real.

In the 11th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals that the root of human suffering lies in our ignorance of our true nature and the limitless potential within us.
Every soul holds limitless power within. What is this vast universe made of? When we observe carefully, everything we see (solid, liquid, gas, or subtle space) is formed from atoms. If we study a single atom, we discover that the energy within it is the very energy that fills the entire Universe. Within an atom there is darkness, thought, sound, light, and movement, just like the Universe itself. Electrons revolve within it, showing that the whole cosmos is reflected in the smallest unit.
If such power exists in one atom, think of the human body, which contains billions of living cells. In each of these lives the energy of the Universe is present. You are not weak. You are not poor. You are not ignorant. You are beings filled with strength and vast intelligence. The only reason for human suffering is not knowing who you truly are. When you lose your inner sovereignty and drift away from your center, pain begins. So know yourself. Trust yourself. Believe in yourself. Think, “I am a part of this Universe. I am a spark of the Supreme Light. I am a child of the Divine.”
Thought is powerful. A human being shapes even the body through thought. If you keep affirming, “I am love,” again and again, you begin to become love itself. Even if someone hurts you, patience will arise naturally. When a thought reaches its peak, it imprints itself deep within the life-force and awakens countless other life-cells. Instantly the body and mind become energized.
Consider this: if you merely think that a food is unpleasant, nausea can arise even before you taste it. A single thought can activate the mind, the nerves, the glands, and the muscles, producing a physical reaction. In the same way, when someone praises us as wise or noble, joy rises within. How much greater it is when a Guru recognizes our greatness and calls us O! Wise ones!. Do not doubt such words. They are spoken with awareness.

Gurumahan proclaims in the 11th Velvi (2001) discourse that, one must protect spiritual awakening or Atma realisation, with the same tireless care and devotion that a mother shows in guarding her child.
A single force governs this entire Universe, an unseen Supreme Reality. It pervades all existence, shining as the eternal light within the vast, pure void. Everything that exists today is but an expression of that Supreme Light, and we ourselves are its living aspects, standing in that state of joy.
This JnanaPeedam (UPF, Thirumoorthi Hills) was established so that you too may merge with that joy, bliss, and peace, and attain the highest state. It has already borne fruit. Now the question is: who holds the responsibility to proclaim and preserve it? You do. For you have regained your lost sovereignty, your lost light, your lost divine power.
But is attaining enough? Certainly not. What is truly noble is to protect what has been found after long seeking. When something is won, should it not be safeguarded? We liberated this earth, this motherland, from bondage, did we stop there? Should we not protect it? For years you yearned for a child and finally received one after a decade. Is receiving alone sufficient? Should you not nurture and protect it?
What kind of protection is required? Consider a mother: she guards her child without regard for her own food or sleep, ready even to sacrifice her life so the child may live in health, prosperity, and happiness. If such greatness belongs to a mother blessed with divine motherhood, then you who have attained divine realization must live with love, compassion, patience, and freedom from jealousy, uplifting and blessing all who come. Nothing else should dwell there.
That is why today we witness your loving nature. Once you wondered who was arriving at UPF ashram and what their purpose was. But not anymore. This ashram alone is not your world; this earth alone is not your world, the entire universe is yours. Even if someone were to arrive from Mars, you must welcome them with goodwill. In ages to come, beings may even come from distant moons near Jupiter. Intelligent life like ours may exist there, and when they come, they should feel no fear of difference.
How then should you receive all who come? When one descends from the soul-state (Atma) to the body-state, emotions arise. When one remains in the mind-state, perception alone operates. But when one abides in the Atma, no difference exists. Like you, they too are expressions of the same Universe. Reflect on this: what does it matter which planet one comes from? Among the countless streams of cosmic energy, we are one and they are one.

In the 11th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals the timeless truth that shines as one and the same light in the words of Christ in the Bible and Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita.
The Bible says that Jesus died in this world and rose into another. When this body we call “I” and “mine” fades away and one reaches that higher state of Self-realization we realize that what Krishna declares in the Gita, “I am the light of the world,” and what Christ proclaims are not different. For any yogi who attains that state, all philosophies merge into one truth.
Whether a small child comes here or an elderly person arrives, it is the same Thirumoorththi hill. The way each describes the experience may differ, but the realization itself is one. That is why, in every age, yogis arise as sages and reveal the truths they discovered through deep penance.
From here, you too can transform what seems difficult, discover yourself joyfully in the realm of wisdom, cultivate your inner power, apply it in daily life, and fulfill the true purpose of birth. Universal Peace Foundation (Thirumoorththi Hills) guides you toward this state. All who come here can surely attain that divine height, because you yourselves stand as living witnesses.
When the Guru’s role unfolds rightly, we see that whatever has happened has happened for good, and whatever is yet to happen will also unfold for good. Thus, “Whatever happens is for good” becomes a great mantra. Even loss can hold hidden grace. If wealth is lost, life may have been saved and as long as life remains, wealth can return.
So trust that everything happens for good. Hold an unshakable faith in the Divine.

In the 11th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan asks, Oh Soul! Will You Sleep from Womb to Tomb, or Awaken from Womb to Wisdom?
What blessing do you truly seek, one for this world or one for the beyond? You can gain what is needed for both, yet this worldly life is not permanent. Even though you know it will not last, why cling to it? Houses do not last. The body, which is also a kind of house, does not last. Beyond all these stands a lasting state called liberation. In human life, after experiencing virtue, wealth, and pleasure, the final goal is this liberation.
How can you reach it? You have already tasted it once during Velvi. Just as a woman becomes a mother the moment life forms within her womb, a seeker also undergoes an inner birth. Kundalini Shakthi rises from Muladhara, crosses many stages and centers, and reaches the Crown, the thousand petaled lotus. There it turns into pure awareness and feels supreme bliss. Through that bliss, the soul attains the divine state.
When a yogi practices sincerely, he gains this divine realization. That realization grants liberation, a state beyond birth and death. The soul that once moved endlessly in the wheel of time goes beyond time, place, and circumstance. But if it stays attached to the body and worldly things, it remains bound and is born again and again. It moves between womb and tomb in the cycle of life. To be free, it must rise beyond these pulls and unite with the cosmic source. Only then does it reach the highest state.

In the 11th Velvi Discourse (2001), Gurumahan Urges Us to Look Beyond Appearances and Miracles and Walk the Hidden Path to the Thousand-Petaled Wisdom Within!
True wisdom (Mei Jnanam) is the knowledge of knowing one's Self. True wisdom includes two things: knowledge of the outer world that we understand through appearances, and self-knowledge that we gain about ourselves. Sometimes a person gains self-knowledge. We can see many sages who attain wisdom, yet they may not understand people’s minds. Even if they gain self-knowledge, they may not know the attitudes, outer lives, and appearances of many people. Still, they do not need to stay only in the Himalayas or caves to do penance. Many unknown sages live in villages. Many realized beings still live among us.
You think that if someone is a sage or realized soul, they must perform miracles or show something extraordinary for you to recognize them. You long only for outer signs. That is not the truth. They wait only to help you attain what you must truly attain beyond these signs. When a truthful person approaches them, they remove outer appearances and reveal truth. That is why sages live in villages. They renounce worldly desires and sensory pleasures, yet live a detached life even while staying in family life.
If we fail to recognize them and instead disrespect them, they still focus their countless energies and rise to a state beyond thoughts. When they reach thought-less state, any thought they think becomes powerful. From there, whatever you ask from the Universe and its movement, you receive. That is why the Puranas call it Kamadhenu and Kalpaka Tree (Vriksha). That wish-fulfilling tree and Kamadhenu exist at the Crown chakra. The thousand-petaled lotus lies beyond six oceans and six mountains, in a cave on the seventh mountain. If you cross those six mountains and six oceans (six Chakras) and reach that place (Crown), whatever you think under that wish-fulfilling tree will happen. There lies infinite power, and there itself is the true Self (Atma). Go there and ask for your boon.

In the 11th Velvi discourse (2000–2001), Gurumahan highlights life’s ultimate question: when the soul leaves the body, where does it go and what truly grants it liberation?
When this physical body is left behind, where should the soul (Atma) go? What state should it reach? What is human life? It is finding joy from sorrow, love from hatred, strength from weakness, wealth from poverty, freedom from slavery, and knowledge from ignorance. So what is life? Life is beautiful, loving, wise, powerful, blissful, and peaceful.
All people in the world desire this. Why can they not attain it? They do not make the needed effort. They do not know the right path. They do not know the goal of human life. They go wherever their impulses lead their eyes, ears, legs, and mind. But you are the higher among humans. Among all living beings, humans are the highest, and among humans, you are the higher ones, the wise. The path you show the coming world will become the path all people follow. So what will you show them poverty, ignorance, weakness, or slavery? No. You came seeking wisdom and a true Guru because you wanted freedom from these. Ignorance is the cause of everything that hides truth. Only true knowledge can remove this ignorance.
What is true knowledge? It is knowing yourself and knowing the Universe around you. What does knowing yourself mean? It means knowing who you are first understanding the body, its function and principles; then understanding the life force (prana), the mind, and the intellect; and finally realizing the “I” principle, the Self that moves them all. Therefore, realizing the Self is the goal of great beings, sages, and yogis. You too have received that realization, the awareness (MeiUnarvu) that fills the whole Universe, the awareness that exists as the Guru and as the Supreme Reality.
Just as parents always wish their child to rise no matter how much they suffer, you have a true Guru who loves you like a mother, cares for you like a father, acts as your close friend, and gently receives all your burdens whenever you come. You must gain the nature of that Guru. For many ages you worshipped God, bowed, performed rituals, and offered devotion. Because you excelled in devotion, you have received this Jnana (Kundalini Initiation) as fruit. Because you shone in devotion, you have gained wisdom!

In the 11th Velvi discourse, (2000 -2001) - Dawn of Sathya Yuga, Gurumahan calls us to awaken to the Self and turn every moment into triumph, just as Krishna did in the Mahabharata.
This physical body no longer needs to carry the Divine Light everywhere to reveal the “I God” philosophy. From the very beginning, I never intended to proclaim to the world, through this body alone, the divine principle of “I God.”
As Krishna revealed in the Bhagavad Gita, He possessed the power and wisdom to end the Mahabharata war by Himself. Yet He was the embodiment of timely wisdom, the living presence of knowledge, able to transform any situation into victory and goodness. He never desired the fame that came to Him; instead, Krishna wished that glory to belong to His people, so they might regain the self-sovereignty they had lost.
For that same reason, you too must reclaim your inner kingdom, the empire of love, knowledge, power, bliss, and peace that once belonged to you but was forgotten. The Guru now sits in quiet pride, knowing that you have attained it. That joy shines through inside and out.
As this longing deepened, I felt that whenever I enter the Pranavalayam (Golden Pyramid at TM Hills), I should unite with the very center of the Universe and express myself only as that pure energy. That is why everything unfolded so swiftly in the beginning. Many kept asking, “Will the Sathya Yuga truly be established?” Some spoke without understanding, and I felt sorrow that even those close to me, those who had reached a Guru still doubted. The answer to such doubt is not argument, but realization: each person must receive true wisdom within.
This 11th Penance exists for that purpose. It is performed for you and by you. Ten Penances were already revealed, yet the proper state to realize them had not arisen. You believed you had realized the Self, but when sorrow and suffering appeared, you trusted something outside yourself and forgot the power (MeiUnarvu) within. Therefore, you must now participate fully in the 11th Penance.
Each of you must shine as philosophers and ascetic sages in this lineage, for this thathuva dhava Gnana Peedam is the throne of true Philosophy, penance, pure wisdom and supreme bliss. Whoever comes to the thathuva dhava Gnana Peedam must radiate that realized state. That is why the founder who established this Universal peace sanctuary, Jagathguru Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan, desires that all people receive the supreme truth: that a human being can become divine through the realization of non-duality (Advaita).
From this moment onward, false notions and distorted philosophies about God must no longer spread. The truth, that Nature is God and that true wisdom lies within, must be revealed. For this purpose, many holy penances were performed, and now a state of fulfillment has been established.

During the 11th Velvi, in the year 2000, Gurumahan reveals the divine qualities of His disciple: pure love, unbending truth, and fearless courage!
Disciples who came to the Velvi for one day have beautifully expressed the philosophy of Brahman through powerful writing. Those who once did not know poetry have written poems. Those who did not know how to write have created fine works. Many used to have bodily troubles, 'I cannot bear even a little hunger. I have diabetes. I must urinate often. My body feels weak.' Yet, in the midst of many such challenges, you gained great determination. By accepting a single word, the Guru’s word, you gained the faith that you can achieve anything.
For nearly 17 days, you sat in this holy gathering of philosophy, penance, wisdom, and bliss. In just one day, from morning until evening, you performed yogic practices and attained what had to be attained. You performed a Jnana Yajna, Dhava Yajna, and a Tattva Yajna. In that single day, you became complete. In that very day, you realized the divine nature within you, and an outward transformation became visible. Earlier, when I saw you and called you with outward love, sorrow still lingered within my heart. When will the Paranjothi Vamsam, those initiated into Kundalini meditation, realize the radiance of the Supreme Light within themselves? The value and honor you give to this perishable body will perish with it. But the Supreme Light, the Paranjothi shining within this body, exists in everyone. When will you all awaken to this truth?
My beloved MeiUnarvalargal, until now I did not call you disciples. Today, I firmly declare: you are my beloved disciples. You accepted me as your Guru, yet I did not accept you as disciples until now, for my disciple must be complete in all things, noble in all ways. No matter how many trials or obstacles arise, they must never waver from truth. Only those who come with love (அன்பு), truth (உண்மை), and courage (துணிவு) deserve to be called my disciples. I believe you have gained that truth, that love, and that courage.

Gurumahan’s Victory at the 11th Velvi in 2000 Marks the Rise of Sathya Yuga in Our Age, and His Duty Surpasses Even a Mother’s Love!
By offering yourselves in the 11th Velvi, you realize the tattva of Nature as God, awaken to the Self, and taste the bliss of Kundalini.
O divine ones! You now stand radiant in that realization. This Velvi brings the Guru greater joy than ten Velvis, for He sees with pride that Sathya Yuga stands established. His joy flows outward and touches all.
A mother longs for her children to live with love, character, discipline, knowledge, strength, joy, and peace. She wishes them to shine with divinity, earn honor, and flourish in the world. This is a mother’s sacred duty.
A Sathguru’s duty stands far higher. Even after attaining wisdom, He reads each mind and teaches in the way each heart can receive. He goes to their homes and pours out this wisdom, though it does not easily take root. Wandering yogis renounce all and cross seas, forests, and mountains to taste supreme bliss. Seekers yearn only for divine awareness (MeiUnarvu) as life’s sole aim. Even when we offer that very experience, you say, “We are not wise; we are ignorant. We still feel no deep pull toward this state (MeiUnarvu). True devotion has not yet awakened in us.” That is why these ten Velvis unfold.
With 12 long cycles of fierce yearning to bring forth Sathya Yuga and make it living truth, the Guru now sits before you, crowned with the pride that Sathya Yuga stands revealed.
