We have a responsibility to do good for the world. Let us work for the well-being and peace of all. The efforts we make toward this goal are a form of meditation. Through this spiritual practice, we can grow personally and help uplift the world. May the blessings of the Guru guide us on this path.
This life has been given to you so you can correct the mistakes of your past lives and live a life free from wrongdoing. So, in this birth, live by dharma—don’t act, speak, or even think in ways that go against it. When dharma thrives, justice and good governance will follow.
For those who are spiritually awakened (those who have received initiation through UPF), personal discipline becomes family discipline, which leads to national and global discipline. So the good character and self-growth of awakened individuals can truly change the world. Your vow must be: “Even if others do wrong, I won’t. Even if others abandon dharma, I will stay true to it.”
Why? Because you have true awareness—dharma-consciousness. Most people live based on the five senses and the reasoning that arises from them. But you are spiritual seekers (yogis), guided by a deeper awareness and a higher sense. You are living as liberated souls (mukthas) in this world, having realized supreme wisdom.
Your current state Is one of wisdom (gnana). All religions were created to help people awaken this wisdom. Practices like sariyai (rituals), kiriyai (devotion), and yoga (spiritual discipline) all aim to guide people toward spiritual understanding.
You have received the rare and powerful path that leads to true wisdom. When you are ready to receive this teaching, you are also ready to rise to a higher spiritual state. Your third eye—the inner vision—has awakened, giving you the ability to understand deeper truths. What you have realized is the highest truth—eternal and complete. With this realization, you now have the power to bring great good to the world.

Cosmic philosophy teaches us that everything starts from a subtle, hidden state. From something very small and unseen, things begin to appear and take shape. For example, a tiny banyan seed holds great power, even though we can’t see it. From that small seed grows a big tree with bark, leaves, fruits, etc. What was once invisible energy becomes something we can see, touch, and even worship. This shows how invisible things become visible in many forms.
The universe we see is the result of this process. Before anything appeared, there was only unmanifest, hidden nature. The source of everything — that original essence — is what we call ‘I’.
This ‘I’ has become everything: all the objects we see in the world, the space, air, water, fire, and earth.
This ‘I’ is not just an individual self. It exists as everything. To be everything is to be God. So, this primal essence itself is God. Nothing exists apart from this source. God is one, but appears in many forms. God is not a separate thing but is present in all forms.
Just like a seed grows into a tree, the tree is not different from the seed — it is the seed in another form. Similarly, when a father’s life atom joins the mother’s womb, an invisible life particle forms. This particle slowly grows and becomes a visible human being. So, invisible things become visible.
All forms we see are expressions of one Divine Reality. Therefore, everything we see is nothing but God.

True happiness does not lie in this physical body, for it is only a temporary dwelling. Our real and eternal home is symbolized by the crown — the highest state of consciousness.
In yogic philosophy, Manasarovar symbolizes the crown chakra (Sahasrara), the highest energy center in the human body. When our inner spiritual energy — known as Kundalini — rises through the chakras and reaches the crown, it unites with the divine, just as Shiva and Shakti are united at the summit.
So, the true pilgrimage is inward. The real Manasarovar is within us. The moment our Kundalini reaches the crown, we experience inner bliss, unity with the divine, and the ultimate realization of who we truly are.
By raising the inner energy (Shakti) and uniting it with Shiva, the higher consciousness at the crown, one attains the state of Sayujya — complete union with the Divine.
A person who reaches this state has fulfilled the highest purpose of human life and is freed from the cycle of birth and death.

At the time of death, simply calling out ‘Shankara’ won’t bring God to you. It’s important to cultivate the habit of worshipping God well before that moment. From a young age, we need to understand the proper path to reach the divine. That’s why our elders encouraged us to practice devotion and taught us to seek God through love. After that, one should explore ways to connect with God through righteous actions, and also learn the path of knowledge and wisdom. Thus, devotion (bhakti), righteous deeds (karma), and spiritual wisdom (jnana) are all vital for a person’s spiritual growth.
What we are referring to here is a path that blends love, knowledge, and strength — known as Ashtanga Yoga.
On this path, we lovingly call upon God, who is present everywhere. This omnipresent God also dwells within each of us — a truth exemplified in the story of Prahlada.
Prahlada was a young prince and devoted follower of Lord Vishnu. His father, the demon king Hiranyakashipu, despised Vishnu and insisted that everyone worship only him. Yet Prahlada’s unwavering faith in Vishnu, even from childhood, was based on the belief that God exists everywhere, including within himself.
Despite facing many threats and punishments from his father, Prahlada remained steadfast in his devotion. When Hiranyakashipu questioned whether Vishnu was present in a pillar, Prahlada affirmed it was so. To protect Prahlada, Vishnu appeared from the pillar in the form of Narasimha, the half-man, half-lion incarnation, and defeated the demon king.
This story teaches us that God is present everywhere — in a pillar or even in the smallest particle. If God can reside in a pillar, He surely lives within us too.
When we regard a stone as God, it becomes worthy of our faith. If we see it only as a stone, then it remains just that. Viewing an object as divine and worshipping it can strengthen our faith and inner resolve. But where does this faith actually reside? It exists within ourselves. This inner faith is what we call self-confidence. Without it, one cannot thrive in the world. Those who reject themselves end up rejecting God; denying God is the same as denying one’s own self. Conversely, one who trusts in God also trusts in themselves, and one who trusts themselves also believes in God.
A true yogi does not distinguish between themselves and God. They believe that the divine energy present everywhere is also within them, and they strive to realize this power. This is the essence of yoga — union. With dedicated effort and practice, one can perceive and experience the divine force within. The Vedas, sacred scriptures, are the records of those who have attained this realization through experience. Therefore, we must place our faith in the Vedas. Those who have faith are never abandoned.

Thuriya Dhavam is the state where one who has realized the inner light becomes one with all. The crown center (Sahasrara) serves as the gateway through which all cosmic movements are drawn inward. The energies of the sun, moon, planets, and stars are absorbed through the Brahma Nadi—also known as the Brahma Randhra, the subtle opening at the top of the head.
This reveals a deep connection between the individual and the universe. Beyond this crown center lies the realm of divine light (Jyoti Mandalam), followed by the realm of sacred sound (Nada Mandalam), where the vibration of Om resonates. Beyond even this lies the Adi Mandalam—the primordial realm.
This Adi is the ultimate state of existence, which we call the Param Mandalam or Supreme Realm. From that original source, all creation has emerged. You, too, are a soul that has descended from that Supreme Space. The purpose of spiritual practice is to return to that supreme state. In your meditation, merge with the Supreme Consciousness that dwells in the Param Mandalam.

**How does Gurumahan manage to remain in penance for 21 days without food or water?**
Universal energy exists in three forms: formless, formless-with-form, and with form. The nourishment we receive comes in three types—solid, liquid, and air. The subtle life force, known as Prana or Pranava Shakti, fills the entire cosmos. This divine energy flows through every level of existence, transforming into water, earth, and eventually manifesting as plants, fruits, vegetables, and greens. Just as we take in solid and liquid food through the mouth, we also receive air through our breath—without which life cannot continue .
Subtle energies fill the universe. When Kundalini rises from the mooladharam to the crown, one experiences bliss through prāṇa. At the crown, Pranava energy transforms and revitalizes every cell. This energy then flows from the aakinai (third eye) down to the root through the central channel, nourishing cells, tissues, and organs—forming the body itself. The body absorbs essential energy directly from the universe, eliminating hunger. Water molecules present in the air also enter through the crown, supporting blood circulation.
Life continues by absorbing this life energy. When hunger and thirst are transcended, metabolic and decay processes also become regulated. The pure blood circulating from the heart, upon reaching the crown chakra in the brain, transforms from *mrutham* (death) into *amirdham* (immortality). This divine nectar is produced there, and by consuming it, one can survive up to a week without food. For healthy blood circulation, it is essential to eat pure, nutritious sattvic food and maintain good thoughts and emotions.
Among the 101 nāḍis (energy channels) that extend 16 angulas from the heart, one special nāḍi ascends toward the crown. As pure blood flows upward to the crown, similar to how a mother’s blood transforms into milk after childbirth, for enlightened beings (gnanis), this blood flow transforms into *amirdham* (divine nectar).
The *Vindhu* (seed essence) at the mooladhara is the powerful energy known as Kuṇḍalinī. When awakened by fire (kanal) and moving through the central channel (sushumna naadi) spiraling up to the crown, it transforms into a radiant *Bindhu* at the forehead. When this Bindhu energy merges with the *Aaradharam* (spiritual subtle layers), it combines with the *amirtham* generated by the blood’s circulation and the deep awareness arising there. At this moment, a wondrous inner jewel called *rasamaṇi* is revealed. It is here that one can understand the reason behind their human existence.
My beloved divine students, when you comprehend the purpose behind this manifestation, fully experience it, and transcend it, you will receive the great blessing of liberation from rebirth. Therefore, we who have attained the *rasamaṇi* and *amirtham* are the ones destined to elevate humanity. It is the exalted mission of Gurumahan that you too reach this highest state.

A brief moment of true inquiry holds more value than a thousand years of blind devotion. Rather than engaging in meaningless external rituals for years without understanding, taking just half a minute to genuinely explore and question is far more meaningful. The third eye centre (Aakinai) is the space dedicated to such thoughtful exploration. At the third eye centre, a few seconds of contemplation is held in higher regard than prolonged ritualism.
