“Sara Schaefer is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and author,” says the website Wikipedia. And who are we to disagree with such a characterization? Our only quibble with this description is that it fails to list her notable status as a miniaturist. That’s right, Sleepyheads, Sara builds tiny, tiny versions of things that are, in real life, quite a bit larger. We think you’ll enjoy this journey into miniaturization and perhaps Sara’s art will make your stresses and worries seem smaller and more manageable as well. Or maybe she’ll just distract you for a while. Sara was born on the same date as our host, John, but ten years later. Other people born on this date include Marcel Proust, Arthur Ashe, and Sofia Vergara.
