Sarah Ferguson has joined members of the royal family for their traditional Christmas Day outing, alongside ex-husband Prince Andrew.

Ferguson has not appeared at the walk since the early 1990s, when the pair split.

UK correspondent Enda Brady told Tim Dower the surprise appearance is likely because of Prince Phillip's death.

He says Philip didn't want her near those functions, but King Charles seems more charitable.
