In today's episode I discuss the "Big Bummer Cards" of the tarot -- in a real life context. This episode discusses how we can navigate the deeply challenging times on our lives that these cards represent. I discuss my top 4 - Death, The Tower, The Devil, and the 10 of Swords - and share strategies and ideas for navigating these incredibly difficult life experiences with self compassion, a sense of humor and an eye towards growth. Then I guide us through the process of creating a tarot card meditation to help us tap into the wisdom of a card we may be struggling with. In today's episode I talk about healthy and holistic goal setting based on your strengths and desires rather than should and shame culture. I discuss the difference between predictive and empowering, action-oriented new year's readings, and offer a trifecta of rituals to super charge your goals and dreams for the new year. I also rant a little bit about toxic diet culture. This episode was recorded live with a (virtual) studio audience - thanks for tuning in, Sassafras Patrons!
