The Food Depot in Moncton has worked for more than a year now on a food recovery program, collecting food from grocery stores that's at or near its best before date. But executive director Chantal Senecal said a lot of food still ends up as waste because it can't be processed quickly enough. That's where the Adam O'Brien with the Medavie Community Kitchen comes in.
