Nyandeng Chol Dut Akok is the wife of the late Karbino Kuanyin Deng. Kuanyin was the commander of the Sudanese unit of 105 battalions in Pibor, Bor and Pochalla when the war broke out in 1983.

Malualchat is a suburb of Bor town, and home to the Sudanese military unite of 105 battalions from 1973 to 1983. General Alfred Manyang Agok Aliet was a junior officer and one of the three who were relieved after they refused to honour the call to transfer or deployment.

In Juba, Aldo was interviewed by SBS Dinka Radio's stringer Daniel Atem Manyuon about the role of JCE. Ajou was asked if Jieng Council of Elders is influencing the government's policies and whether this agency was formed to be anti other tribes like Nuer? JCE or those serving in it are accused of being behind the crisis in South Sudan.

Biar said much of the oil's revenues are being paid back as a loan, leaving the South Sudanese government nothing to pay the civil servants.
