Three bodies have been discovered inside a burnt out car at a park popular with families in Perth’s south on 14.03.2022 and another three people have been found dead in a burnt-out car in Melbourne’s south-east on 24.03.2022. The exact circumstances leading up to the fire incidents are still being determined, however police are not looking for anyone else at this time. Australia and India signed a major interim free-trade deal hailed as a significant step in diversifying export markets. The new agreement will strip tariffs off 96 per cent of Indian imports into Australia and 85 per cent of Australian exports, rising to 91 per cent over the next decade. Australian minister for trade, tourism, and investment Dan Tehan and Indian commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal signed the Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) in a virtual ceremony in the presence of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Indian counterpart Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr R.Rajagopalan, a leading independent journalist in New Delhi, explains the salient features of the trade deal and analyses its political significance. Karthika Sivarajan was featured in “The Women Changing World”, a collection of stories of 34 leading Australian women. The book was given to all the oscar award nominees this year. Karthika has been described as an eco-conscious, kind, and compassionate person. She was a Product Development Engineer, Software professional, Primary school teacher, Educator, Speaker and now an Entrepreneur who has started a social impact venture called ‘Embrace’.
