Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Asra Nomani of DefendingEd.org returns to the Dom Giordano Program after making headlines after testifying before Congress. In a clip that has since gone viral, Asra is seen recording Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee on her phone. Lee stops herself and asks Asra to stop recording, with Asra shooting back that it is freedom of speech. Nomani points out the irony of the situation, telling that she was there to testify on the subject matter, being the discrimination against Asian students. Asra takes us into the hearing, telling why it was twisted into a political rant, and tells Giordano what she had hoped to gain from the testimony.

Then, after playing Dom’s Money Melody, Giordano turns over into a conversation surrounding education, as testing results throughout the country were released, showing pitiful decreases in all major topics. After spending some time on that topic, Giordano switches back to the situation in Ukraine, particularly the continue resistance to produce oil domestically by the Biden administration.
