  • Ben Fred Friday – April 26, 2019
A huge Blues win last night to talk about with Ben Fred. An incredible atmosphere at Enterprise Center and Tarasenko was on fire. Ben Fred tells us that he thinks the game last night could set the tone for this "war" of a series against Dallas. Getting Tarasenko rolling could be the key to beating the Stars in, what Ben Fred thinks, will be a seven game series. Scoring on Bishop has been tough in the postseason so drawing first blood for the Blues was a big deal.

Dan said the Blues just play different in front of Binnington so him becoming the starter was the turning point in the season. Ben Fred tells us that Binnington could become a nationally recognized name if the Blues can win this series. He says that the confidence level behind our goalie is undeniable.

We talk about how much it matters that the Cardinals win at home. Mike Shildt made it a point to emphasize and the ball club has been great in front if their fans lately. This team is starting to recognize the advantage they have at Busch. We talk Andrew Miller's back and forth reliability.

Looks like Carlos Martinez will head to the bullpen. Does Ben Fred think that's the right move? What do we know about his health?

Listen here for all that and more.

  • Tony Talk – Episode 3
Tony talks about Fernando Tatis'  two grand slams in one inning a mere 20 years ago. He said, for him, it was the most surprising thing that happened in his managerial career. How does he remember that night? What still sticks in his mind?

Also, he often compares Goldschmidt to Albert Pujols. What is it about the two that resemble each other? He got to know Goldschmidt in Arizona. In Tony's words, he's a tremendous human being just like Albert.

We talk bat flips. What's Tony's opinion on the drama that can surround the showy nature in baseball right now? He says there's a fine line in emotional display and showmanship. When it is ok to retaliate?

Tony talks Ken Hitchcock stories and Blues success. Did he know Yadi was such a big Blues fan? Listen here for all that and mailbag questions answered too.
