On this episode of R&R, we speak with Kat from Virginia. Kat works as an LPC who specializes in gender and sexuality, and is the mother of two children, Daphne and Davin. Today we focus on Davin. Davin is Kat’s 9 year old boy. He has a very loving personality and regularly steps up to the plate to help Kat and his little sister with daily tasks. Recently, Kat has noticed that Davin struggles to regulate his time on the family’s iPad, staying up all night long playing games and watching videos. Kat has tried many different approaches to curb his screen time to no avail! Today we will discuss how to make screens a constructive part of your family dynamic and when to take the iPad away.
