Dave is a serial Entrepreneur, NY Times Best-Selling Author, a Global Keynote Speaker, and Rob’s Co-founder at Apprentice. The business model for Apprentice is unique in that the College students work remotely while they are in college to do anything and everything needed to make their leaders’ lives easier and to make them more effective.
In this episode Rob:
Rob and Dave working together demonstrate the huge potential of cross generational collaboration. Is there a better way to learn how to be an entrepreneur than to apprentice with one? Not that I can think of. Enjoy

“People think that if we have enough passion that our passion is going to be the thing that ignites the revolution. The movement that we are going to bring into existence. And what I tell clients very routinely, you know what? Your passion is gonna kill you. Your passion is not a strategy. Your passion is great as an ingredient, but it does not mean you're going to arrive. You need to step out. And actually in many cases, passion is actually the poison because that passion makes them so fixated on their own thing that they lose the necessary perspective to actually step out and look broadly enough to go, wait a second. You know what? Now that we're actually over the intoxication of our own Kool-aid, let's look at the situation”.

In this mini episode Tim shares a few laughs reflecting on the early days of his podcast while at the same time making the point that success is 80% who you are and 20% what you know. He then shares 2 great guest stories about the CEO of a publishing company that can't tell the difference between a verb and an adverb and a once homeless man who started a software company even though he didn't know how to code.
Emily Harrison is the Founder/Director of the The Akashic Academy, a modern day mystery school dedicated to sharing knowledge that is changing the planet.
Raised in a small town in Louisiana, Emily dropped out of school to pursue her dream of being a hollywood actress. In the early days that meant working in restaurants where she had the opportunity to serve the likes of Jerry Seinfield. Her acting career took off and led to Emily being cast in a leading role on the American soap opera “The Bold and The Beautiful.” What should have been the pinnacle of her career went off the track when Emily realized her heart was not in it. This impacted her performance and ultimately led to her being fired.
In 2015 Emily became a certified Akashic Records practitioner. She left her career in Hollywood and created a healing business that includes teaching, speaking, contributing to the Huffington Post, and mentoring/certifying others in the Akashic Records.
For those that don’t know the Akashic Records are an energetic record of every person, place, thing, event, and animal on the planet. You could count me skeptical when I first heard Emily speak about the Akashic records at Harvard (we shared a stage). We had a lively discussion in which Emily:
Emily’s genuine interest in helping others is impossible to deny, as is her passion for sharing the knowledge of the Akashic records. This episode digs into her work and also her journey as an entrepreneur. Enjoy

Kevin Palmieri is a Peak Performance Coach and co-host of The Hyper Conscious Podcast where he interviews successful entrepreneurs, speakers, athletes and artists from around the globe. Through his podcast Kevin also gets to connect with people who are trying to change their mindset.
It’s a topic he’s passionate about because for Kevin changing his mindset wasn’t a choice. In his words it truly was a life or death decision. His purpose today is to be the person that he needed when he was at his lowest point. For Kevin that moment came at what would appear to be an unlikely time. From the outside looking in his life was great. He had a 6-figure income working as a construction foreman and lots of expensive toys. Things started to unravel when his girlfriend left him. Things spiralled out of control and reached a point where he thought about ending his own life. His decision to start the Hyper Conscious Podcast with his co host Alan Lazaros was the beginning of a remarkable turnaround.
In this episode Kevin:
Tells us how his focus on external things led him to the brink
Says he still wants nicer things but wants to get them differently
Reminds us that the biggest part of business is staying in business
Shares that he suffers from extreme anxiety and explains how he deals with it
States emphatically that he won’t fail his current girlfriend
Suggests that most people wait to long to pursue the side gig full time
Says that when you’re in the water you learn how to swim faster
Talks about growing up in a single parent home with no good male role models
Says that he’s always felt like an underdog
And says you should never quit the journey but we should quit things that aren’t right for you
Kevin is on an amazing personal development journey. The wisdom he shares in this interview is high value. Enjoy.
