Scripture On Creation podcast

This is NOT a prayer to the Creator, but Dr. Scripture thought it would be appropriate to include in the Creation Prayers series because it is a call TO PRAY by the Creator.  This Psalm is the origin of the oft referred to phrase, "He owns the cattle on a thousand hills."

Dr. Scripture addresses several letters he received.  One was a BIG encouragement from an appreciative listener. One was from a person wanting to know how to respond to a "flat-earther" (yes they not only exist--there's an alarming number of them around), and a third asks how the chemistry works that evolutionist's use to explain chemical evolution.

In part 2 of this review of C-14 dating, details from the journal article, Deep Time Philosophy Impacts Radiocarbon Measurements,  in CRSQ vol 55, Spring 2019 Number 4, are discussed.  The assumption by evolutionists of the "infinite age" of samples even before measuring the C-14 content is challenged.

Dr. Scripture introduces the article, "Deep Time Philosophy Impacts Radiocarbon Measurements" which was recently published in the CRSQ journal.  He explains what is being measured in the C-14 dating procedure, and some assumptions--right or wrong--that are used to interpret the results. The article challenges  "deep time" evolutionary assumptions.

The movie, "Alleged" was released in 2011.  It's an accurate portrayal of events surrounding the famous Scopes Monkey Trial.  Dr. Scripture interviews the co-writer/producer Fred Foote.  In this second half of the interview, the bias media reporting of the trial and the practice of eugenics in 1925 is discussed.  This movie can still be purchased online, and we recommend it highly.  The website, www.themonkeytrial.com is also a great resource of FACTS about the trial.

Dr. Scripture interviews (part 1 of 2 programs) Fred Foote writer and producer of the movie, "Alleged."  This award winning film is based on the events that REALLY took place surrounding and during the famous Scopes Monkey Trial. In general, whatever you've heard or read about concerning that event is probably the opposite of what actually happened.  This interview was originally aired in 2011 when the DVD was released.  Dr. Scripture STILL recommends that you get a copy and watch it.

In this Psalm/prayer of David, he refers the Lord's creative act in "preparing a body" for the Son of God who would come to save the world.  The statements which seem to differ in Psalm 40 and Hebrews 10's quotation of it are explained.

Ten years ago Dr. Scripture had the "best Christmas ever."  In this program he discusses what made that Christmas so special and airs a portion of a program from 10 years ago in which Karen his wife shares their life changing experience.

Psa 36:1 states, "there is no fear of God before his eyes."  Before whose eyes?  In this program the connection between that person and the fool who says in his heart, "there is no God" is discussed, also then making a connection between Romans chapter 1, Psa 14:1 and Psa 36.

What is the relationship between our understanding of creation, or more precisely our beliefs concerning the doctrine of creation, and saving faith?  "Saving faith" being the faith that results in salvation of the individual "believer." Genesis 15:6 is discussed.
