Speaking of God's creative work Psa 33:9 says, "For He spoke, and it was done." Doesn't sound like that took a billion years does it? This Psalm makes the point that given the power of God, He is to be feared!
Psalm 33 is an extension of Psalm 32. David does not refer to God as Creator in Psalm 32, but heralds the "work" of the Lord, accomplished by the "Word of the Lord," in Psalm 33.
The annual calendar give away continues, how to get one is explained in the program. The discovery of a dinosaur "mummy" is reviewed, and the astounding find of supposedly 110 million year old spiders with eyes that still fluoresce! is discussed. There is a problem with the dating techniques used to determine the age of these artifacts.
Scripture On Creation is offering the annual complimentary "God's Creation Calendar." How to get one is explained in the program. Another amazingly well preserved dinosaur has been unveiled. It's being referred to as a "dinosaur mummy," yet, incredibly, evolutionists claim it's 110 million years old!
Who can possibly come into the Creator's holy presence? Another way to put that question is: how can I get into heaven? GOOD QUESTION!! This program discusses that question, and yes--there IS an answer.
In this program the bizarre creatures described by the prophet in Ezekiel chapter 1 are discussed. The faces of four different creatures: Man, bull, lion and eagle are significant because of what they represent in the order of creation.
Psalm 19 is a well known "Creation Psalm," and careful reading shows us that David was not only thinking about how the heavens glorify God, he was talking to his Creator. In this Psalm the universal nature of the testimony of the heavens is explained.
Psalm 19 is a well known "creation psalm," however, it generally isn't thought of as a prayer. But as we have defined prayer for this series, since David does address the Lord--identified quite specifically as Creator--in this meditation, Dr. Scripture discusses this wonderful 2 part Psalm glorifying the Creator.
The introduction to Psalm 18 is a lengthy description of the circumstances David was in when he wrote this Psalm/song. He addressed it to the Lord, thus, for our series, we consider it a prayer.
Dr. Scripture took part in a conference that featured presentations from old earth and young earth creationists. This is the second of two programs that discuss issues related to the differences of opinion on this subject.
