Tyler, Denver, CO - My questions are based on what might be universally agreed on, on the subject of the unpardonable sin. This is NOT a question asking what the unpardonable sin is; this question is different. It has been quite difficult for me to find answers to these questions, since usually the answer involves a description of one’s understanding of what the unpardonable sin is, which is not what I am looking for. I understand why there are different interpretations of Matthew 12:31-32 and Mark 3:28–29. To me, Biblical hermeneutics show that someone can’t believe in Jesus as their Messiah, or even want to be a Christian If they had committed the unpardonable sin. Scripture also shows that God will never turn anyone away, so this means someone would not seek Jesus as their Savior If they had committed this sin. This leads to my questions.
One: No matter a person's view of what the unpardonable sin is, is it universally agreed by theologians, pastors, priests, and scholars, that someone could not want to become a Christian, follow Jesus, repent of all their sins, and want to devote their entire lives to Him and leave everything at the Cross, if they had already committed the unpardonable sin?
Two: Is it universally agreed upon that you can’t want to be a Christian and believe in Jesus as the Messiah if the unforgivable sin was committed; and authors of articles just don’t always add that into their interpretation explanation? I am looking for common ground based on all the interpretations of this sin, in hopes to be able to say that one can always know that no matter which interpretation may be correct, they can always seek our Lord and find forgiveness.
Claire, Beaufort, SC (Live Dictation) - I see a lot of political signs around Beaufort, I would like to know Dr. Broggi's thoughts about Shelley Yuhas?
Daniel, Bluffton, SC (Live Caller) - I have a question about Matthew Chapter 7, and how do I know and discern when God is answering my prayer and His will for my life?
Marsha, Bluffton, SC (Live Dictation) - What is the difference between how the Catholic Church presents the Eucharist and how a born again believer partakes of communion?
Anonymous, Hilton Head, SC (Live Dictation) - I am a new believer and learning a lot, a friend of mine recently sent me a video where it explains why believers should NOT worship on Sunday, but they should do it on the Sabbath. What does Dr. Broggi think?
Mindi, Beaufort, SC - At the end of the sermon of September 15, 2024 you said that there are 2 Baptist churches here in town that believe there are mistakes in the Bible. Which 2 churches are you referring to, and what mistakes do they say are in the Bible?
Jack B., Pittsburgh, PA - Reformed Theology’s Gospel Coalition and Tim Keller developed and promote something called the New City Catechism. Do you have some background or opinion on the New City Catechism? Given the reformed/replacement theology of the developers, does the New City Catechism embrace that perspective?
Michael, Beaufort, SC (Live Dictation) - I was diagnosed with cancer and I was told that CBD can be used medicinally. Is it okay for Christians to take CBD or marijuana for medicinal purposes?
Jack J., Bluffton, SC - My question is about Numbers 6:24-26. This blessing relates to Gods Covenant people and I understand that… but that does not preclude that blessing being asked by any of God’s children does it?
Keith, Kentucky (Live Caller) - I have a friend who left church due to Calvinistic theology saying there is a new view of covenant theology on the move. Has Dr. Broggi heard of this?
Steve, Beaufort, SC (Live Dictation) - What does Pastor Carl think of the Legacy Standard Bible?
George L., Cary, NC - I would like to know the best Scriptures to understand the true nature of money. Of course, the love of money is the root of all evil. But what is the inverse of that? I'm not so much interested in how to invest, or make it, but rather the spiritual nature of it. How did it acquire that evil nature? God has been dealing with me a little bit because I'm finally getting serious about my walk, and the potential He has for me in these end times.
Tammy F. - My family and I, visited Beaufort for a month this summer and found Community Bible Church. We attended each Sunday and the kids enjoyed Vacation Bible School. We are active in our Southern Baptist Church in the Upstate of SC and felt at home at Community Bible Church. I would love to get your opinion on The Gospel Project for Kids as curriculum for our Sunday School. We have changed from "The Bible Study for Life" to this new curriculum. I’m concerned about the Calvinistic leaning of The Gospel Coalition, the parent company for The Gospel Project. I’d love to hear your viewpoint if you’re familiar with it?
Ofelia, Savannah, GA (Live Dictation) - I have been visiting a church where the pastor sometimes begins speaking in tongues or sometimes members in the middle of the service. Is that wrong?
Karen A., Malakoff, TX - Was there rain on earth before the great flood of Noah's time?
