    Where my multi-passionate homies at??

In this episode of Seared, we dive into the fascinating world of multi-potentialites.

We explore the unique experiences and challenges of those who possess a wide range of interests and passions. I share the common misconception of needing a single specialty, highlighting the freedom and creativity that comes from embracing multiple passions.

We discuss the advantages of being a multi-potentialite, such as increased adaptability, innovation, and a broader perspective. However, we also acknowledge the potential drawbacks, including difficulty in choosing a career path and the pressure to be a "jack of all trades, master of none."

By examining the power of both specialization and diversification, we aim to inspire you to embrace yourmultifaceted nature and discover the unique opportunities it presents.

  • Episode 41: Stop Complaining And Start Being The Light

The culinary world, often glamorized, can be a harsh reality. I'll share my experiences with the toxic culture, long hours, and demanding personalities that can wear down even the most passionate chefs. It's easy to get caught up in negativity and cynicism, but I've learned the importance of focusing on the positive. By seeking out inspiring individuals and staying true to our own values, we can break free from the cycle of negativity and create a more fulfilling and meaningful career.

However, this isn't exclusive to the culinary world. Many industries can have similar toxic cultures...or at least we have a distorted view of them! I'll discuss how I've seen this in other fields and how important it is to rise above the negativity. Remember, your worth isn't determined by the industry you're in or the people you work with.

  • Episode 40: Why Having to be Passionate About Your Job Is a LIE!

Many of us are told that we should be "passionate" about our jobs. But is that always realistic or even desirable? In this episode, I explore how passion isn't something that you HAVE to have in your job, and why it's okay to have a job that you simply like rather than love.

I discuss how your work can provide the resources and freedom to pursue your true passions outside of work hours. Even if your job isn't your dream career, it can still be a valuable stepping stone towards achieving your goals and living a fulfilling life.

Let's ditch the pressure to find the perfect job and focus on building a career that supports your overall well-being and happiness, mmmkay??

  • Epsiode 37: Nuturing Your Energy And Your Soul In The Storm

In this episode, I emphasize the importance of guarding your energy, particularly during times of global turmoil and natural disasters. Our sensitivity, while a superpower, can be easily overwhelmed by the negative energy surrounding us.

It's crucial to prioritize self-care and tend to our own needs.

By moving our bodies, engaging in activities that fill our cups, and managing our energy levels, we can avoid getting drained by the world's problems. I share my personal experience of feeling depleted due to neglecting self-care and the impact it had on my physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Remember, we can hold space for others, but we cannot bear the weight of the world. It's essential to manage our own energy and prioritize our well-being.
