This episode profiles the grisly, brutal slaying of 15-year-old Jason Mattison, Jr. who was raped, slashed with a box cutter, and found in a bedroom closet - with a pillowcase stuffed down his throat on November 10, 2009. 35-year-old Donta Parrish, who had been released from prison less than a year earlier for a murder conviction with the help of the Innocence Project, was quickly arrested again and eventually convicted of Jason's murder.
