This week I interviewed Vince a fellow second year Industrial & Systems Engineering student at Ohio State. Vince grew up in Chicago in an Italian family where cooking and food were a priority for his family. From his dad who was a chef at the iconic Metropolitan Club to his mom's secret gravy recipe, food has deep roots for Vince's family. Listen as Vince tells some of his favorite Chicago food memories and what growing with food as a focus has meant to him.

On this week's episode I interview Chad Goodwin, co-founder of Eden Burger and founder of 4th & State which are both vegan restaurants in Columbus, Ohio. We had a great time talking about the beginnings of each restaurant, what food and these restaurants mean to Chad from a community perspective and how his passion for vegan food has kept him motivated in these ventures. This week's episode is a feature on Taste of OSU, an annual event at Ohio State that showcases international cultures and cuisines of campus to the students and Columbus community. In this episode I interviewed Alessa Rosa from the Office of International Affairs and Omkar Deshmane the student chair for Taste of OSU. I also had the opportunity to interview three different students from students organizations of Taste of OSU. We heard from Jessica Huang from Chinese American Student Association, Joon Park from Korean Student Association and Jett Hannan from Native American Indigenous Peoples Cohort.

On this week's episode I interviewed my good friend Hanna about gardening during quarantine, her struggle with Anorexia (16:02) and some of her favorite relationships formed around food (32:01). We talked about weird college foods, craft sodas and the importance of enjoying regional flavors while they are available.
