As Team Biden continues to flail publicly about what, if anything, it will do if the Chinese Communist Party attacks Taiwan, the CCP’s menace is becoming ever clearer.

A leaked video of a top secret meeting on May 14th shows leaders in Guangdong Province planning the transition from “normal to war.” And hacked Chinese police data confirms the CCP’s oppression and genocide of Uyghur Muslims and other minorities.

Such revelations should bring to a screeching halt efforts to get U.S. military personnel and other government employees to invest their retirement savings in Communist Chinese companies. But will it? It’s still possible to prevent the Thrift Savings Plan from inflicting a disaster on investors and a threat to our national security.

President Biden today explicitly declared that the United States would defend Taiwan in the event it is attacked by Communist China. As has happened before, however, the White House promptly walked back that statement, reestablishing the sort of official “strategic ambiguity” that at this point can only invite such Chinese aggression.

An even further inducement to the Chinese Communist Party’s belligerence is a move afoot in Washington and on Wall Street that would result in U.S. military personnel and other federal government employees helping pay for it. The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board is holding a public meeting tomorrow morning and – all other things being equal – it is expected to greenlight the investment of their Thrift Savings Plan accounts in mutual funds that will include CCP companies, even sanctioned ones.

Next week, the Biden administration intends to reward Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, for arguably the most profoundly wrong – and deadly – public health misdiagnosis ever.

Team Biden wants the man who affirmed and enforced Chinese Communist Party lies about the Covid-19 pandemic it unleashed on the planet to be authorized to dictate what’s a “public health emergency of international concern” – and what affected nations must do in response.

Actually, history’s greatest public health emergency is Communist China’s illegal biological warfare program that spawned this pandemic. An avowed Marxist like Tedros, who helped foist the further, needless destruction of the so-called “China Model” of lockdowns, vaccine mandates and “passports” on the rest of us, should be prosecuted for his role in China’s present global genocide, not empowered to do worse in the future.

As we assess the immense damage being done to America’s international prestige and national security interests by Joe Biden’s wrecking operation, some negative consequences are self-evident. In short, this country’s enemies – notably, Communist China, Russia, North Korea, Iran and their Marxist allies in our own hemisphere – are emboldened and becoming more dangerous.

Less obvious, but no less problematic, has been the toll arising as allies and other partners adjust to the new reality of an irresolute, weakened and unreliable United States. Some have simply cut deals with adversaries from whom we used to offer protection. Others are actively considering how best to secure a nuclear deterrent of their own in the face of yawning uncertainties about the condition and sufficiency of ours.

Even NATO’s putative solidarity over Ukraine and possible further expansion are imperiled by Russia’s continued aggression and Turkey’s veto.

Joe Biden and his partisans clearly think the American people are stupid. They relentlessly serve up patent untruths, then accuse their critics of engaging in “Big Lies.”

Take the President’s declaration in Buffalo yesterday that, “…Angry, alienated, lost, and isolated individuals [are radicalized] into falsely believing that they will be replaced…by the ‘other’ — by people who don’t look like them.” Actually, Americans correctly regard the Biden team’s “open border” policy as realigning the electorate, to make it more reliably Democratic. 

With fraud-prone mail-in ballots and locales like New York now giving non-citizens the right to vote within 30 days of getting there, the addition of millions of illegal aliens could offset the rising revulsion legal voters feel about Biden’s appalling record.

Calling people racists for objecting to such electoral skullduggery is not simply wrong. These deflections are incendiary and contemptible.

Like a boa constrictor crushing the last vestiges of life from its prey, the Chinese Communist Party has intensified this week its merciless snuffing of freedom in Hong Kong. On Sunday, its hand-picked thug named John Lee won an uncontested race with ninety-nine percent of the votes cast by 1500 hand-picked CCP supporters.

Almost immediately, a new roundup of prominent freedom-fighters began with the arrest of Cardinal Joseph Zen and several others suspected of violating Beijing’s odious “national security law.” They could face life-imprisonment when, not if, the rigged judicial system finds them guilty as charged.

Such mistreatment of Hong Kong’s former archbishop validates his courageous criticism of both Communist China’s totalitarian regime and the Pope it reportedly paid handsomely to sell out Catholics in China. Weeks before the Chinese Communist Party unleashed the Covid-19 pandemic, its representatives participated in “Event 201,” a table-top exercise organized by, among others, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Its stated purpose was to see how a coronavirus pandemic could be used to strengthen world government.

A senior Biden administration official named Loyce Pace happens to be a graduate of the Bloomberg School. She is also the author of 13 amendments that would transform the head of the World Health Organization into the global arbiter of what constitutes public health emergencies and how they will be addressed. Not our government, but CCP-shill Tedros Ghebreyesus.

Former Representative Michele Bachmann says we need Republicans in Congress to conduct the equivalent of a general strike – no quorums, no legislation – until Ms. Pace’s appalling surrender of our national sovereignty is formally repudiated.
