On Friday, the House of Representatives is expected to authorize the hiring of 87,000 armed IRS investigators, supposedly to pursue corporate and wealthy tax-cheats.

In fact, under President Biden, this doubling of that agency’s current workforce of 90,000 employees will amount to a huge new cohort empowered to use not only unwarranted audits to intimidate and penalize perceived political foes. Recent events suggest they’ll also constitute a vast paramilitary force available to perpetrate the sorts of raid mounted at President Trump’s home earlier this week.

Some Democratic partisans are quibbling about the use of the term “raid” to characterize what went down at Mar-a-Lago. Ask yourself: If 40 federal agents wielding weapons and a search warrant they won’t let you see came to your house, what would you call it – aside from a terrifying violation of your constitutional rights?

A profoundly troubling Committee on the Present Danger: China webinar yesterday assessed President Biden’s takedown of America’s armed forces. As the prospect looms of kinetic war with the Chinese Communist Party, the cumulative effects of his ideological purges, insane vaccine mandates, the ravages of inflation and indoctrination that America is not a nation worth dying for are devastating our only military, and emboldening our enemies.

The question occurs: If Joe Biden were working for the CCP, what would he be doing differently?

I can’t think of a thing. To name but a few other Biden initiatives on Xi Jinping’s wish list: replacing our energy independence with reliance on Chinese “renewable” technologies, among other CCP supply chains; facilitating an  invasion by millions of illegal aliens; surrendering Afghanistan; and humiliating and prosecuting Americans critical of China.

Whatever his motivations, Joe must go.

For 18 months, we have been told that a far-right group known as “Oath Keepers” seeks to overthrow the U.S. government. It seems that others, who might be called “Oath Breakers,” pose a far greater threat to our Republic.

Yesterday’s FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s home is the latest evidence that Democratic politicians and officials – all of whom have sworn to protect and defend the Constitution – are instead weaponizing law enforcement and other government agencies against partisan foes in a manner at odds with the rights guaranteed by that document, including equal justice under law.

How far will the Oath Breakers go? Will they deliberately provoke President Trump’s many millions of patriotic, Constitution-revering supporters to justify further official misconduct, perhaps to an extent that would affect the upcoming elections? Might 87,000 new IRS agents be weaponized for repression?

Congressional Democrats have cynically adopted a deceptively entitled “Inflation Reduction Act.” It would be more accurate to call it the “Help China Win Act.”

Americans will suffer and the Chinese Communist Party will benefit as independent economists say inflation will be undiminished – notably, devastating defense spending.

Moreover, the Act will advance the CCP’s agenda of destroying the United States by: moving us towards a police state by up gunning – literally – and weaponizing the IRS against Americans; reducing our energy security by further assaulting coal and increasing renewables’ supply-chain dependencies on China; and making massive new expenditures that undermine the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.

Unfortunately, such effects are not isolated events. They are of a piece with the Biden administration’s larger wrecking operation that hurts our country to the benefit of our mortal enemy: the Chinese Communist Party.

The Chinese Communist Party has effectively begun its invasion of Taiwan with live-fire air and naval exercises surrounding the island, including some within Taiwan’s exclusive economic zone. This would seem to be a bad time for U.S. government employees and military personnel to have their retirement savings invested in CCP companies.

Yet, as an article in today’s Wall Street Journal makes clear, the CCP’s “Old Friends” like BlackRock’s Larry Fink have effectively eviscerated President Trump’s decision two years ago to bar such investments through the federal Thrift Savings Plan. Our coalition opposing that scheme has established that TSP participants could be unwittingly investing in hundreds of Chinese corporations – including ones tied to its military and/or human rights abusers.
