Today, President Biden will meet virtually with adversaries like China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin and dozens of other nations’ leaders. The ostensible purpose will be to demonstrate international resolve to address so-called “climate change.”

In practice, this meeting will, like previous ones, feature U.S. commitments to dismantle our energy sector so as to reduce the use of fossil fuels and carbon emissions – fundamentally transforming America, to China and Russia’s benefit, with negligible impact on overwhelmingly naturally induced changes in temperatures.

Other summiteers will surely pledge to make similar adjustments. But China, the world’s worst polluter with still-growing numbers of dirty, coal-fired power plants under construction, will make empty promises and insist on being compensated for doing anything.

Whatever one thinks of the reality of climate change, its champions are zealously undermining American interests and sticking us with the tab.

President Biden and Vice President Harris seized on Derek Chauvin’s conviction yesterday for murdering George Floyd as proof that America is “systemically racist.”

That insidious and false narrative happens to be one aggressively promoted by what is, indisputably, the most systemically racist country in the world: Communist China. The Chinese Communist Party incessantly denounces America’s “racism” to subvert this country and deflect attention from the its own, ongoing genocide against ethnic minorities.

Worse yet, Chinese dictator Xi Jinping is making clear that his empire-building Belt and Road Initiative will help institute new “rules and standards” for “global governance.” If he succeeds in consolidating that scheme’s worldwide build-out of dual-use infrastructure and debt-trap financing arrangements, Xi will be able to enforce his totalitarian hegemony and, yes, his racist Han supremacism on others, and perhaps us.

America’s allies in the Middle East are preparing for war, thanks in part to the growing danger they face from an Islamist Iran emboldened by the new Biden-Harris administration. They are right to do so and their warnings should prompt an urgent course-correction by the U.S. government.

The latest such alarm was sounded on Sunday by 2200 former Israeli military, intelligence and law enforcement leaders. They wrote in an open letter: "The Iranian regime explicitly and publicly seeks the destruction of our country and the toppling of governments of the Arab countries with whom we have made peace. Preventing Iran from obtaining the capability to build deliverable nuclear weapons and confronting the regime's malign activities are essential to preventing catastrophe."

Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin’s trial may well end this week without his conviction on charges of murdering George Floyd. If so, Marxist groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter appear prepared to seize upon such an outcome to engage in violence there and in cities across the country.

On Saturday, Congresswoman Maxine Waters seemingly incited such groups who have lately resumed rioting in Minneapolis’ Brooklyn Center area, proclaiming: “We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active. We’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”

Representative Waters must be held accountable for her actions. And law enforcement agencies like the FBI must focus on actual domestic terrorists – namely, Marxist revolutionaries now poised to “get more confrontational” – and stop persecuting Americans simply for supporting Donald Trump.

President Biden holds today his first face-to-face meeting with a foreign leader since taking office. He and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga must use the occasion to deter our common enemy, the Chinese Communist Party, from invading Taiwan.

Two factors demand action to that end by these allied nations, not just empty rhetoric and posturing which China’s dictator, Xi Jinping, will surely discount. First, the CCP is intensifying preparations for such an invasion – greatly reducing the warning and response time we’ll likely have.

Second, the U.S. and Japan have to disabuse Xi of his confident expectation that an American administration Chinese intelligence operatives and their corporate proxies have deeply compromised – from the President on down – will not accede to Beijing’s aggression.

The hour is late. And the costs of failure are incalculably high. Let us pray the allies rise to the challenge.

An international treaty obliges signatories to punish a nation that perpetrates genocide. The question at the moment is whether Communist China – which the U.S. State Department, among others, has determined is genocidally repressing millions of Uyghur Muslims and others – will be rewarded for doing so?

That would be the practical effect of moving forward with the plan to have the Winter Olympics in Beijing next February. An open letter being issued today by some 115 prominent Chinese dissidents, national security professionals, and human rights champions warns that these will amount to “Genocide Games,” reminiscent of Berlin ones in 1936 that emboldened Adolf Hitler to intensify his murderous oppression at home and aggression abroad.

The world must not make that mistake again. Punish the Chinese Communist Party by stopping the Genocide Games and holding Freedom Olympics next year outside of China.

Another incident of a black man dying in Minneapolis in the course of an altercation with police has triggered a new wave of so-called “mostly peaceful” protests – accompanied by rioting, looting and other violence. It is happening as the city breathlessly awaits the outcome of the trial of former officer Derek Chauvin accused of murdering George Floyd, setting off similar events there and across the country last summer.

Unfortunately, if Chauvin’s jury acquits him, revolutionary groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa are poised to trigger far more widespread violent upheavals in Minnesota and elsewhere.

The question occurs: Beyond stopping the present rioting, what steps are being taken now by law enforcement agencies and the Biden-Harris administration to identify those responsible for last year’s mayhem, discourage them from reverting to form and prepare to stop them promptly should they do so?

The world just got more dangerous. A reality that has developed inexorably over decades became palpable last night, and its repercussions are likely to be far-reaching and ominous.

On Tucker Carlson’s nighttime program Monday, former Congresswoman Tusli Gabbard described the horrific consequences of a nuclear war with Russia over Ukraine. By so doing, she at least implicitly affirmed that America no longer can confidently deter the sort of aggression now in the offing there and elsewhere, including China’s against Taiwan.

We have long relied on our nuclear arsenal to counter those of others and protect our interests and friends. But for the past thirty years, we have largely neglected our deterrent forces while Russia, China and others have relentlessly built up theirs.

Team Biden envisions more unilateral disarmament.

Emboldening enemies and abandoning allies is a formula for instability, and possibly catastrophe.

Joe Biden’s gun-control announcement on Friday perfectly captures how dangerous is his presidency.

First, as usual, he lied about the nature of his initiative. In this case, he asserted that it’s completely consistent with the Second Amendment’s guarantee of the right to bear arms. Wrong.

Second, Biden exposed the falsity of his putatively moderate façade by announcing the latest appointment of a radical, anti-gun activist David Shipman, to implement his policies.

Third, even as Mr. Biden touted the absurd idea that cracking down on law-abiding citizens’ right to bear arms will deny criminals’ access to weapons, his son Hunter has paid no price for getting a gun illegally by lying on a background check.

Unequal treatment under the law is corrosive to our constitutional Republic, but characteristic of the immense harm the Biden administration is doing to it, and us.

“Managed decline” is a euphemism for the proposition that the United States is a terminally waning power and must accommodate itself to the inevitable rise of Communist China and the realization of a global socialist “reset” favored by so-called “woke capitalists.” Elites of both parties have long embraced this idea and many of its adherents now hold senior positions in the Biden-Harris administration.

Unfortunately, instead of “managing” our decline, this presidency seems determined to greatly accelerate it. The combined effect of Democrat-controlled executive and legislative branch efforts to shred our Constitution and the liberties it guarantees, wage what Michele Bachmann aptly calls “war on the dollar” and embolden our enemies are evidence of an official determination to achieve our “hypersonic decline” and prompt national demise.

It’s not too late to reverse this seditious trajectory. We must, however, start doing so now.
