We are all different, and sometimes we struggle to make a difference. Nav Parmar and I challenge listeners to remember the craziest dream, you used to dream about as a kid. Maybe, you wanted to play in the NBA. Maybe, you wanted to be a Star. Maybe, you felt a soul calling to empower 7 billion people through art, whatever it is, the ones who are passionate enough ( or crazy enough as society labels) to think they can obtain this dreams in this crazy world, are the ones that do.

Growing up, do you remember identifying with a Disney/ Nickelodeon Star who looked very similar to you? I, unfortunately, did not have the luxury of identifying with any stars that looked like me or at least shared similar features. Canadian Actress Aliza Vellani most recently touched an enormous amount of hearts for her role as Rani Singh in the Netflix series, Sweet Tooth. She and I got together to tackle Diversity, Equity and Inclusion behind the scenes of the acting industry that is often never talked about. We came to an epiphany that in the end what matters most is that we are human beings and so how could an industry categorize us into a single box when we are so beautifully complex. If this resonates with you, join us.

The majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long, we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not aware of our own life, then we no longer control it—it control us. So in this episode, the founder of 3seed training Harp Grewal and I create a space for you to be mindful of life without any attachment to it being right or wrong/good or bad.

Sometimes it feels like social media says you should always be happy, and that showing your sadness is a sign of weakness. Ciara Rose and I disagree. You're allowed to change your mind, to take a break or leave a situation you don't feel comfortable in. You are also allowed to not be okay. This episode is for those who are struggling with mental illness and/or grief, dealing with this pressure to always seem happy.

There is a common misconception that confidence is something you either have or you don’t. But confidence isn’t something you’re born with; it’s something you build through adversity or as I like to call it A Tower Moment. Imran Rai is back and ready to empower women about self-confidence in a social media-driven society. She shows us the light you see in her which is shining right within you. This episode is about self-assurance to reassure you in however it is needed.

It’s the oldest story we know: "One day you're single, living your best life. But then you meet someone… and you end up losing yourself in them.” We Self Love Loungers are good at prioritizing ourselves when it's just us. But then life comes along and steals the spotlight that we are too free to give. So, just like many of us, Marie Stella lost so much during the pandemic and found her purpose in the chaos of life and now the spotlight.
