What if you stopped trying to figure out how you’re feeling and just pressed play? 🎧

Welcome to Selfamusic, a mental health podcast where music gets to do some of the talking.

We explore the songs that make us cry, dance, remember, rage, heal, laugh, or stare dramatically out a car window like we’re starring in our own music video. Sometimes there’s a deeper conversation hiding underneath a song. Sometimes there isn’t. And that’s okay.

I’m not here to tell you what a song means or what you’re supposed to take from it. I’m here to give you something to listen to, something to think about, and maybe a question or two to carry with you.

*A little note for returning listeners: Selfamusic has evolved over the years. The earlier seasons are more personal and often document me working through my own experiences in real time. 
Season 5 takes a slightly different approach, less teacher, more guide; less “here’s what this means,” more “what does this mean to you?”
