I was born on May 20th, 1952 in Washington, DC. I was raised in Arlington, VA and my Father, was USDA for over 33 years, serving many national interests in his career as a public servant. Now at age 69, I am a Senior. I don't apologize for that distinction and here is the reason WHY. Seniors now make up 16% of the total population of the USA to the tune of 47 million. We are a FORCE, both numerically and economically. But stay tuned. In the year 2060, the number of Seniors in America will DOUBLE. America is AGING right now, over 100 million will be over the age 65. Seniors are a HUGE Economic Asset in America as well. At last count, the amount of wealth transfer from the Baby Boomer Generation to their children and subsequent grandchildren will be well over 30 Trillion Dollars! This is the largest wealth transfer in the history of America! Enter the necessity of CARE to this generation that will be paramount in the coming years and in fact it already is rearing its pressing need, especially during this pandemic, which has decimated the Senior Community with highest infection and death rate of COVID 19 and now the Delta Variant which is plaguing America, right now! Recently, the word came forth that women over the age of 55 were the most susceptible to the onset of Alzheimers disease and that alone was a shocker.
